Festive Gift Guide 2022: For Beauty Lovers

It’s time for another Festive Gift Guide and this one is always my favourite to do. It’s for the Beauty Lovers. I know I share a lot of different beauty products on my blog but it’s truly my kryptonite. I’m always trying to be on a beauty ban then something on TikTok will catch my eye. Surprise Surprise there has been ALOT of beauty gift sets which have caught my eye this season. So if you have a beauty lover in your life like myself, here are a few suggestions of things they’d love to see under the Christmas Tree.

Starting off with some skincare from one of my favourite brands; First Aid Beauty. The Clean, Smooth and Groovy gift set retails at £55 and is worth nearly double that price. The set includes five hero products from First Aid Beauty including facial radiance pads, ultra repair cream and the pure skin face cleanser. It’s worth getting the gift set just for these three products and you also get the Facial Radiance Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum and Ultra Repair Firming Collagen Cream. If you’ve not tried anything from First Aid Beauty this is a great set to try out a few bits.

Nudestix have been on my radar for a couple of years now. They are well known for their vegan and cruelty-free stick products which come in the infamous black tins. This Christmas you can pick up a brows and lashes kit which comes with their Brow boost & set gel XL, Lash lengthening mascara and magnetic luminous eye colour pencil in the shade Nudity. These three products are an excellent combo for perfect brows and and a golden lid. I’ve got to say I’m obsessed with the luminous eye colour – it’s absolutely stunning! This gift set retails at £24 for the three items and can be found on Flannels Beauty, Selfridges and Harrods.

I’ve recently discovered the brand Skingredients which retails on Cult Beauty and Boots. I’ve got to say it was the bright vibrant packaging which really caught my attention. This skincare brand actually comes highly rated. The Serum Squad gift set includes a duo of serums which can be layered to work on your skin’s current needs. Included in the set are Skin Veg and Skin Protein. I actually think this set is very exciting and any skincare lover would be over the moon with receiving this.

We all know how much I love Sol De Janeiro. I’ve probably tried 80% of their product line and I’ve always been very impressed. Of course, the original Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is the ultimate must have product. In the Brazilian Body Besties include the original Bum Bum Cream but also Bom Dia Bright Cream & Coco Cabana Cream. This sets a great way to try out all the different products but also it’s excellent value too! All three creams smell insane and I am pretty obsessed with them all.

Why not include another Sol De Janeiro gift set?! The Hair Harmony gift set includes four of their well loved hair products. I use the shampoo and conditioner regularly and it’s got the OG scent and it’s incredible. Alongside the shampoo and conditioner, the gift set includes an anti-freeze hair oil and a leave-in conditioner. Again, this set is really great value as it retails for £30 when the contents add up to £44.

Dr Paw Paw always come out with the loveliest little stocking fillers. This year you can get the Mini Shine Gift Collection which includes three mini’s of the balms. You’re lips will be looking hydrated and luscious all year round with these balms. The set includes the overnight lip balm which I’m a big fan of this as I find it works wonders! The set is £10.99 and can be found online at ASOS, Beauty Bay, Debenhams & Look Fantastic.

The best thing about Christmas gift sets is the novelty packaging. Mavala have brought out their very own nail baubles – How cute?! You can get their classic nail polishes packaged in a little bauble. So whether you are planning on hanging them on your tree or saving them as a stocking filler, these are adorable. The two polishes I’ve got are New Delhi and Velvet. The festive baubles are available from more local pharmacies and also online at Fenwicks here.

Another great stocking filler is the Angela Langford Bloom & Glow Face Oil. You might recognise Angela Langford as a finalist from Masterchef but she has now launched a natural and organic skincare brand. The Bloom & Glow face oil was voted by Good Housekeeping as #1 in their Nourishing Face Oil Testing, so it has certainly passed the consumer test. This product promises to improve skin’s elasticity, calms inflammation & restores radiance and it certainly makes you feel pampered and radiant. I also have to mention that this product smells heavenly.

Not strictly a beauty product but I don’t know about you but when I’m dolling myself up or having a self care session, I will light a candle in the background to get some zen. This Souletto Candle Trio from Notino would make an excellent gift. The trio of candles all smell amazing and the set is packaged so lovely. I picked this up for £13.50 which I didn’t think was bad at all for a trio of candles.

Finally, we have another item for haircare lovers. As the saying goes, you are as only as good as the tools you have. Kent Brushes have a wide selection of gifts to suit all the family which would make excellent stocking fillers or even a great item to put in a Christmas Eve box!
