My Summer 2021 Beauty Look with TK Maxx

It feels so good to be out and about again (although at the time of writing this I’m in Isolation). It gives us a reason to doll ourselves up and get dressed up. Staying at home, I’ve barely put any make-up on unless I’ve been on a zoom meeting. So I’ve been ever so excited to get my beauty kit out and experiment with a few new products. I’ve teamed up with TK Maxx and it’s no secret that I absolutely love TK Maxx and finding some cracking bargains. You can find some incredible designer brands at great prices, what’s not to love?

TK Maxx has a great beauty selection offering all sorts of products from skincare to haircare. You can find lots of your favourite brands here at a snip of their RRP price. On my weekly (sometimes daily) trips to TK Maxx, I’ve found some amazing pieces which I will be using this Summer. I thought I would share with you my Summer go-to look featuring some of the new products I’ve picked up.

My typical Summer make-up look features a glowy complexion. After applying SPF which is obviously the most important step of my routine, I focus on finding base products that have a dewy glow. Whether that’s in my foundation or in a priming product, I like something that will give me that extra glow before applying a highlighting powder to the top of my cheeks, brow bone and on the tip of my nose. I’ve found a few amazing highlighting powders from top brands in TK Maxx which have become staples in my make-up bag.

I’ve come across some amazing eyeshadow palettes in TK Maxx including the one pictured above. Some of the deals you can get in-store and online are just incredible with more than 50% off! Although I would usually reserve a dramatic sparkly eye look for a night out, I have been loving a soft shimmer for the Summer. Whilst I usually do go for some bronze shades, I am loving lilac tones at the moment!

With the lips, I have been sticking to neutral matte shades. I’ve been loving more browner tones than usual though. However, I will be leaving the deep reds and berry tones for Autumn and Winter! I do usually opt for matte shades. With certain brands that I have come across, once you know the formula is excellent, you’ve got reassurance that the lip colour will be staying put all day!

TK Maxx doesn’t just have a great selection of makeup and skincare products but they also have some great beauty tools and even haircare products from a range of top brands. After all your makeup look is only as good as the tools you are using. When I was in my local store, I came across so many makeup brushes from incredible brands. It’s definitely working having a gander and seeing what you can find!
