The 2019 Mother’s Day Gift Guide
The long-awaited Mother’s Day Gift Guide has arrived. I always love doing gift guides for certain occasions and Mother’s Day is one of my favourites as I love to treat my Mum to something special. I do have an advantage as my Mum is so easy to buy for because she likes a lot of things similar to me. I’ve put together some of my top picks of the best gifts you’ll find this year.

You really can’t go wrong with a box of chocolates, can you? Guylian Belgian Chocolates is a favourite of mine and my Mum and will certainly go down a treat. There’s a whole variety of different selections from the Guylian range but it’s the Praline Sea Shell Selection that caught my eye for my Mum.

Following the theme of tasty treats, we’ve got this huge barrel of sweets from Retro Sweet. One of the things that I think make a lovely Mother’s Day gift is personalisation and I’ve got this with my Mum’s name on. The big sweetie jar comes with all sorts inside from Palma Violets to a Double Dipper. I think she will be sorted for sweets for the rest of the year now!

For the Mum who loves a good pampering session. Baylis and Harding have got plenty of different gift sets for Mother’s Day at Victoria Plum. You can get all of her favourite smellies in lovely sets and some of them come with slippers and dressing gowns. Each set is with a different fragrance. The one I loved the sound of was the Jojoba Silk Almond Oil and this comes with a body wash, body oil and bath crystals along with a super soft dressing gown. The perfect accessory for cosying up by the fire after a lovely pamper session.

You might have caught my fragrance guide for Mother’s Day with Notino.co.uk. One of my Mum’s favourite perfumes which I mentioned was the Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss. This is her go-to perfume at the moment and I’m actually quite the fan too. I think the Estee Lauder perfumes are sometimes underrated but this one along with Bronze Goddess smells incredible.

It wouldn’t be any sort of gift guide from me without a fair few beauty and skincare items. I’m actually a huge fan of the brand Time Bomb which is a luxury skin care brand. I actually use their ABC Serum on a daily basis and think it’s amazing. First up, we have their Hand to Hand Combat Hand Cream. I always think hand creams make great gifts as you can never have too many to pop in your bag. The Hand to Hand Combat cream is a really generous size and I love that it’s made with coconut oil so it smells incredible and is ever so moisturising.
Also from Time Bomb, we have the Divine Intervention Glow Oil which is their new hero product at the moment. I love the tagline that says “don’t wait for the light; be the light” and that just really shows how the product can really radiate the skin and make you have such a glowy complexion. The Oil is made from a number of different products such as Frankincense and Myrrh! My Mum has been using this for the last couple of weeks and she’s found that her skin is brighter.

Finally, we have another skincare item which my mum has been using for the last couple of weeks. One thing my mum loves finding is a good moisturiser. Her skincare routine isn’t to extensive but she likes a good moisturiser! The one she’s been using recently is the Jane Scrivner Skin Elixir which makes a great base for the day whilst moisturising and the skin. This natural and organic product also claims to prevent premature ageing and balance any skin type. To be honest, this sounds like a product I need to be using too!
So that’s the 2019 Mother’s Day Gift Guide, I hope that’s given you some ideas for March 31st. If you’re looking for more ideas check out my fragrance and gin guide too! I’ve also wrote a post about things to do on Mother’s Day in Yorkshire, there are so many lovely ideas!
