I’m still finding it hard to believe that March is only a week away. Whilst January seemed to be the longest month ever, February seems to be going at 1000mph. As we are approaching March, not only is the arrival of Spring impending but it will also shortly be Mother’s Day. We always usually celebrate Mother’s Day with a lovely meal out somewhere and this year will be no different. I’m really lucky as my Mum is really easy to buy for but over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing plenty of ideas.
One thing my Mum is a big fan of is Gin. Let’s be honest, who isn’t? But With so many flavours and types of different Gins to buy and try, I’ve got to the point where there is just too much choice! If you’re Mum’s a fan of a cheeky tipple then a bottle of gin would be the perfect present. I’ve recently come across a brand called Just Miniatures which is the UK’s leading supplier of Miniature bottles of all types of alcohol. They have everything from Gin to Rum and even personalised bottles.
For Christmas, I was actually given a lot of little miniatures. It was the perfect way to try lots of different flavours out. Although the bottles did not last long at all. However, I’ve now found some new favourites. I thought it would be a great idea to choose a few miniature bottles for Mum to try out for Mother’s Day. Just Miniatures stock over 100 types of gin, so there’s plenty to choose from. Additionally, there are plenty different Gin Gift Sets which already have a selection chosen out for you. I’d highly recommend the Whitely Neil Gift Set as their Palma Violet Gin is my current favourite.
Another favourite of mine is the Edinburgh Gin Selection. I know a lot of people have banged on about how amazing the Edinburgh Gins are but I didn’t try it until I received it at Christmas in a miniature. The Raspberry Edinburgh Gin really ticks all the boxes whilst my Mum is a big fan of the Rhubard and Ginger one.
With literally every single flavour imaginable available right now, Let’s not forget the old favourites such as Bombay Sapphire, Hendricks, Beefeater and Gordon’s which are all available on Just Miniatures. You can also buy cases of miniatures – perfect for a party!
Another great way to give the gift of gin on Mother’s Day would be to purchase tickets to an upcoming Gin Festival such as The Gin Society. I’ve been to a couple with my Mum and she really enjoyed it. There are a few different events across the country by different companies. It’s a great way to sample even more Gins and usually, there’s food and music involved too!
Are you or your Mum a big fan of Gin?
