Lifestyle: Capturing Winter With Fujifilm Instax Mini
Although we will soon be in Spring, I have been capturing some of my favourite Winter moments. I was recently contacted by Ocean Loans who kindly sent me a Fujifilm Instax Mini to take part in their Winter Polaroid Project. Although I absolutely hate the cold, Winter is actually my favourite season as I love wearing big chunky jumpers and wearing wooly hats, relaxing in my PJs after a lovely bath with Lush treats, having girly nights in watching movies with great food and all the hot chocolates.
I was so excited to play around with the Fujifilm Instax Mini which I got in the shade pale pink. The set up of the camera is super easy, I just inserted two batteries and the film which come in sets of 10. The film is quite pricey so I wouldn’t recommend getting snap happy with it but I think it’s just brilliant for capturing special moments. There are a few settings to adjust depending on your current lighting. I don’t know if you can tell from the shots I’ve taken above but I haven’t nailed that aspect yet – I’ve been using it on the home setting but It doesn’t agree with white backgrounds. I’m still getting used to it though and I’ve just bought some more film so hopefully, I’ll use it a lot more soon!

I LOVE the instax camera's I bought my sister one as a 'going to uni' present and ever since then have wished I bought myself one too… Personally I'm a big fan of the yellow or blue one!
I love the Instax cameras, although the film can be expensive if you don't get it in the right place. I am forever going through packs of film haha 😀

And my favourite thing about winter is Christmas and my birthday. 🙂 And I like snow and sunny winter weather. And snowboarding. 🙂 Eh, I am a Winter-child, cold doesn't bother me much. 🙂

I have this camera in black! I love this and the mini Polaroids are very cute! I'm trying to get used to using it with different lighting. I couldn't quite manage it in a snowy setting 🙁
