Staple Items for the Wardrobe with Esprit
As we are soon going to be in the Spring/Summer season, it’s the perfect time for a little clear out and possibly adding some new staple items to your wardrobe. Every so often, I make a list of a few pieces that are essential and timeless. I’ve been browsing the Esprit website to find items which are essential to everyone’s wardrobe.
Striped Tee is my ultimate must-have staple item for your wardrobe, you might be able to tell from this post that I am absolutely loving Stripes at the moment. There’s something so chic about a classic Breton style top which can be worn a number of ways.
A Statement Necklace can really liven up any outfit and you can find some really gorgeous pieces. I love this floral design from Esprit which can really make a bland plain dress something special.
In my wardrobe, I have two dresses which I have named The Interview Dress. I think everyone needs a classic smart dress which can be worn to an interview, a formal occasion or even just to work.
Finding the Perfect Pair of Jeans is a pretty hard task in my eyes, I still don’t think I have found my perfect pair yet. Everyone needs a pair of jeans that fit like a glove and just go with everything. Once you’ve found your perfect pair, buy ten pairs!
It’s no secret that I am an absolute Handbag lover, I really believe that it’s such a good idea to invest in a good leather handbag. I’ve found that buying high-quality handbags, they have stayed in such great shape and will potentially last you years.
A White Shirt in your wardrobe is such a staple item, it will go with so much! You can dress down with a pair of boyfriend jeans or dress for work with a business suit. It’s such a versatile item
A pair of Black Court Heels are another must-have staple item which are not only pretty practical because of the low heel but they will be great for wearing to work or an evening dinner.
Black Boots are just an absolute must, whether you’ve got a little heel or a pointed toe. You literally cannot go wrong with a pair of Black Boots, they go with anything and everything. I currently have about 6 pairs and I just love throwing them on with jeans or a dress.
So those are my wardrobe essentials that I think everyone needs. Do you have any other must-haves?

I always have a great pair of black boots in my wardrobe and a well fitted pair of jeans. I have a love of jewellery so I always many pairs of earrings and bracelets too to choose from.
I think a pair of thick black leggings or jeggings for when you are feeling bloated or under the weather.
Also I think a plain black t shirt as well 🙂
