Fashion: Ladies Day at Cheltenham Races

March 26, 2015
If you’ve been following me on Social Media you’ll know that I went to Ladies Day at Cheltenham Races with my friend Becca! This was my first time at the races in Cheltenham and we were both really excited as so many people were raving about it. As soon as we arrived at the train station everywhere was filled with racegoers.

As usual I ended up wearing a totally different outfit to what I had planned in this post. I always end up changing my mind last minute! I decided on my Topshop striped dress and my faux fur jacket from Miss Selfridge as it was quite chilly! Becca wore a dress from Boohoo and a pink leather jacket, we entered both looks for the #ColourMeMarch best-dressed competition but, unfortunately didn’t win! Becca kindly did my hair in this amazing side braid, I think it’s the nicest my hair has ever been!

We arrived at the racecourse and the whole place was huge. The biggest racecourse I’ve been to, It was incredible! The day was thoroughly lovely, we did place some bets and did really well. I came home with the same amount that I left with! I’d completely recommend going to the races at Cheltenham if you haven’t before, the atmosphere is amazing and it’s just a fabulous day out!

A big thanks to etailPR who organised the day and provided us with amazing club class tickets! I had the best day! I wish I’d took more photo’s but we were just enjoying the day.

Have you ever been to the races? What did you think?

  1. Awww, you both looked so cute! Loved your outfits.

  2. Gorgeous coat. Glad you had a good time, I used to go to Cheltenham before we had kids every year. Our friends live up there, it is a gorgeous place. The architecture of some of the buildings is breathtaking and don't even get me started on the countryside!

    Did you place any bets?

It's good to see that you had a great time. Any time you can come away from a race track with as much as you came with is a wonderful outing. It's fun if you don't get addicted to it or gamble too often or too much. I have been to a track before, luckily did okay, and quit before I lost much. I have seen some sad cases involving gambling addicted people. The track (or house if it's a casino) always wins in the end – it's probability. I am definitely not a gambler. The fashion and excitement are fun though. The locations look fascinating and pretty, You and Becca looked fabulous – your hair looked great. I like the dresses you and Becca wore.

  4. Your outfits are super cute and I love the headdress. I was in Cheltenham just last weekend and its truly stunning and don't get me started on the shops. Hopefully next year I'll go for the races.

  5. Looks like you had a great day, I've never been to Cheltenham races but I love going to Newmarket races x

  6. I think both of your outfits are fantastic. Classic with an edgy twist because of your jackets. I thinks it's really good that you didn't loose anything and had tones of fun!

  7. Gorgeous outfit. Love the fur and those shoes are just lovely x
