The Potting Shed, Beverley

Before my jaunt to Denmark last week, I had a little day out in Beverley with my Grandma. Up until October, I hadn’t visited Beverley in ten years but it’s only an hour away from where I live. It’s actually a beautiful market town with a pretty decent selection of high street shops.

After a spot of shopping, we headed over to The Potting Shed which is a short walk from the train station and the Flemingate Shopping Centre. The restaurant has been opened for just over six months and previously I’d seen a lot of people buzzing about the Bingley branch. This was actually my second visit to The Potting Shed. I absolutely love the décor of the place with twinkling lights and cosy little snugs. Outside, they have actual sheds in array of bright colours which will be perfect to wine and dine in the warmer months! The Potting Shed, Beverley - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger The Potting Shed, Beverley - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger The Potting Shed, Beverley - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger

The Potting Shed has a great range of burgers, pizzas and favourites such as Fish and Chips on the menu. I went for a Chicken Burger which was marinated in lemon and herb with lot’s of flavour. I swapped out my regular fries for sweet potato fries as I’m currently addicted to them. They were also potentially the best I’ve had so far in my sweet potato eating career. My Grandma ordered Fish and Chips which was apparently delicious (it certainly looked it!) and came with mushy peas.Chicken Burger at The Potting Shed, Beverley - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger Fish and Chips at The Potting Shed, Beverley - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger

There was a choice of two desserts which I believe gets switched up on the specials board but nothing tickled my fancy. It would have been good to see a couple more options but I’m not sure I’d have had much room left as our mains were pretty generous portions!

As I said before, there is also a bar in Bingley too but they will be opening another in Northallerton. I’m they’ll soon be taking over the UK! The Potting Shed is worth a visit if you are in the area with great food and a unique decor! I will certainly be returning when it’s a bit warmer to get in those sheds!

Have you heard of The Potting Shed before?

XOXO
