Festive Gift Guide 2023: Tasty Treats

It’s the SIXTH and final Festive Gift Guide for 2023! This is one for the foodie lovers in your life and the ones who enjoy all the limited edition festive tasty treats. I personally love indulging at Christmas and love all the different editions of products which get released. It’s also a great time of the year to pick up gift sets from your favourite foodie or drink brands. Let’s delve into some of the best tasty treats I’ve found that would make excellent gifts for your loved ones this Christmas or just yummy additions to the festive table.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty TreatsFestive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Littles Coffee

Starting off with a gift which would please any coffee lover. Little’s Coffee have released their festive selection including ground coffee and capsules compatible with Nespresso. The Christmas Spirit Coffee is infused with the festive flavours of orange, brandy, cinnamon and vanilla. This sounds unbelievably festive and would be a great addition if you are making up a festive hamper too. Little’s is available from their own website and a selection of high street stores and supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Amazon, Ocado, Selfridges & Co, Harvey Nichols and Harrods.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Salcombe Brewery

Salcombe Brewery have released their hugely popular Christmas Tide seasonal beer again for 2024. You can purchase the very special limited edition yuletide ale as part of a gift set which includes two bottles of beer and a branded pint glass. This makes the ideal stocking-filler. The gift set is available https://salcombebrewery.com/.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - M&S

I’m guilty for spending way too much money in M&S, especially in the festive season. I’m sure I’m not the only one getting drawn in by Colin, Percy and friends. M&S have brought back the popular Very Jelly Munch which is a mix of chocolate pretzels, popcorn, jelly beans and much more. This would make an excellent gift or something to snack on after your Christmas Dinner. The tin is available from M&S for £9 or you can buy a refillable bag for £6 which doesn’t include the tin.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - NOMO

Chocolate is a key part of Christmas and it’s important to make sure everyone is included with the delicious snacks. For anyone with intolerances or allergies, NOMO have a huge selection of chocolate treats which are vegan and free from dairy, gluten, egg and nuts. NOMO stands for no missing out which they certainly make sure with their full range of advent calendars, selection boxes and delicious festive treats. You can purchase NOMO from their website and a number of stockists such as Tesco, Waitrose, Asda, Sainbury’s and Holland & Barrett.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Chatsworth House Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Chatsworth House

I’ve mentioned it before but an excellent gift for foodies is compiling them a hamper filled with delicious treats. On a recent festive visit to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, I picked up some treats from their Farm shop. Farm shops are a haven for delicious produce to include in hampers. Always a hit is Lemon Curd and other preserves such a jams and chutneys.

Speaking of preserves, also on a recent trip to the island of Jersey, I picked up a jar of their famous Jersey Black Butter. Which sounds like it’s the perfect item at Christmas with apples, jersey cider and spices which can be enjoyed on toast, with cheese or cold meats. If it sounds like your cup of tea or a great addition to a hamper you’re putting together, Jersey Black Butter can be purchased from Maison de Jersey.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Opies Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Opies

Another great addition for a hamper made for a food aficionado or hard-to-buy-for friend is the Opies’ Fruits with alcohol. The Opies collection of Fruits steeped in syrup infused with alcohol can single-handedly revolutionise your menu. If you don’t fancy gifting these, they do make a great staple in your festive cupboard for making roulades, strudels, pavlovas and even cakes & tray bakes! New for for this year is the Forest Fruits with Mulled Gin which I can imagine would be delightful in a festive pudding! Opies’ is available from  Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose, Booths & Nisa.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Knoops

This next gift is perfect for any Hot Chocolate lovers! Knoops is a brand which has been spreading it’s wings across the UK with delicious expertly crafted chocolate drinks. I’m obsessed. I do have a Velvetiser to make hot chocolates and find that the Knoops chocolate flakes make the most delicious hot chocolates – or iced chocolates if you prefer. The flakes come in a range of different cocoa blends. Knoops is available in numerous stores in the UK in places such as Manchester, London, Brighton and Cambridge or online at Knoops.co.uk.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Bailey's

It’s not Christmas without Bailey’s is it? Bailey’s have a range of chocolates which would make an excellent stocking filler. This packet of Bailey’s mini delights caught my eye as it’s salted caramel flavoured with just a hint of Bailey’s. This really is a must have for any Bailey’s lovers and is available from Sainsbury’s, B&M & Amazon.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Villa Maria Sparkling Cuvée Brut

Christmas isn’t Christmas without a bottle of fizz! Making a great drink for Christmas Day or to gift to a loved one. The Villa Maria Sparkling Cuvée Brut is exclusive to Sainsbury’s. The brand is well known for making exceptional wines and styles and is sure to be a winner this Christmas with it’s flavours of zesty citrus and ripe stone fruit.

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Clementine Bucks Fizz from Sainsbury's

Another fizz favourite from Sainsbury’s is their Taste the Difference Clementine Bucks Fizz. I’ll tell you this is what I’ll be drinking all day long on Christmas Day. It’s a firm favourite in my household and it’s the best Bucks Fizz I’ve had. I recommend you give it a go!

Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Edinburgh Gin Festive Gift Guide: Tasty Treats - Edinburgh Gin

Finally, we’ve got two festive gins liqueur from Edinburgh Gin. I actually picked these two bottles up from the Christmas Market at Chatsworth House at a bargain price. Edinburgh Gin is up there with my favourite Gin brands and the Blackcurrant and Anise Liqueur and Plum and Vanilla Liqueur are very festive options for Christmas. They make excellent gifts for gin lovers and are at a great price point. Edinburg Gin is available from most places which sell alcohol including Master of Malt, Sainsbury’s, Amazon, Morrison’s, Harvey Nichols and many more places.
