Take Action To Defeat Breast Cancer with Estée Lauder
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness. All of Estee Lauder’s brands have joined forces to support the cause and raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Basically, if you buy any of the limited edition products on sale this month a percentage will be donated to Breast Cancer Research. If there was ever an excuse to go shopping for some new beauty items this would be it.
I’ve got my hands on the Pink Perfection Colour Collection* by Estée Lauder which is on sale now to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research. First of all, this palette is seriously cute but I guess I’d say that about anything that’s pink. Four eyeshadows, a blush and the most beautiful lipstick make up the collection that is housed in a pink case. The four shadows are all completely wearable on a day to day basis. You can create a subtle smokey look or keep it minimal with the natural shades. I have to say the glitter shadow is pretty spectacular.
My favourite item of the collection has got to be the Pure Colour Envy lipstick in shade Powerful. I can tell that this is going to be a new favourite of mine. I’ve never actually tried out an Estee Lauder lipstick before and I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s super creamy, moisturising and long-lasting. The shade is an incredibly beautiful soft rosy pink- once again, like the rest of the collection, it’s super wearable for a day-to-day look.
The palette is priced at £40 and 20% of sales will go towards the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The palette can be bought here and from selected Estée Lauder concessions in World Duty-Free across airports in Europe and Asia.
I previously mentioned that all 15 Estée Lauder brands have joined forces to create limited edition products to be sold in order to raise money. I have my eye on the Bobbi Brown Duo Sticks which have been given a little pink makeover in aid to raise awareness. I’ve linked some of my favourite items from the campaign and a few other brands.

This is a great post – personally I’d rather donate the full price of the item as I know only a percentage goes to charity but I think it’s great that brands encourage people to give back!
