The Bloggers Blog Awards 2016

Last weekend was The Bloggers Blog Awards hosted and organised by the lovely Hayley from Tea Party Beauty in Leeds. The awards are a pretty big deal in the blogging world so when tickets became available I snapped one up. We all know, I love a good day out and of course, an opportunity to get my glad rags on.

The Bloggers Blog Awards are now in the second year and Hayley really did put on an amazing event. Held at Canal Mills, a massive warehouse space, myself and Caroline arrived a little early to be greeted with a glass of prosecco. Soon the room was filled with so many bloggers who I admire and love; it was so great to catch up with so many people and meet new people.

I need to mention the most amazing raffle prize (raising funds for the cats <3) that was up for grabs; an Urban Decay lipstick vault. Sadly, I didn’t win but I did win a voucher for Patisserie Valerie which I guess cake is up there with lipsticks. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a lot of photo’s of the actual event (aside from ALOT of selfies), so I thought I’d show you what I wore.

I was unsure about what to wear but as usual, I decided to dress up and go for an all-pink ensemble. My skirt is from Closet London and is a new addition to my wardrobe. I’m a little bit obsessed with it. I originally wanted to pair it with a white top but ended up going for a full-on head to toe pink look. My shoes are by Dune and I’ve paired it with the Lady Dior Patent leather bag from Uncloset (more on this very soon!)
