Lifestyle: 5 Favourite Christmas Movies
It’s now starting to feel like Christmas! I’ve been putting up all the decorations, listening to Bublé’s Christmas album and watching a couple of Christmas movies. I really enjoyed playing around with some fun GIFs on my Favourite TV Shows blog post, so I thought I would do something similar with my favourite Christmas movies which I HAVE to watch every year and I’d love to hear your favourites too!
5. Santa Claus – The Movie
– This is one of those films my Mum made me watch every year when I was little and it just became a tradition. I still think it’s really magical seeing inside Santa’s workshop and it’s such a classic. If you haven’t seen it before, I totally recommend it!
4. The Holiday
– The perfect rom-com to watch over the festive season and with a star studded cast of Cameron Diaz, Jack Black, Kate Winslet and the gorgeous Jude Law. I love that ITV2 play this all year round as I love it.
3. The Polar Express
– This is just a beautiful Christmas story which is based on a novel by Chris Van Allsburg and follows a little boy’s journey on the Polar Express to the North Pole to visit Santa on Christmas Eve. I personally will watch anything that involve Tom Hanks (who voice’s the conducter) but this film really is just a magical watch
2. Love Actually
– Another Romantic Comedy but a total classic, Love Actually is one of all time favourite films. I just love that all the little stories intertwine and who couldn’t love Hugh Grant as the prime minister dancing his socks off! There’s so many amazing actors in this movie, it’s hard not to love it!
1. Elf
– If you haven’t seen ELF before, where have you been? Elf is the ultimate must watch over Christmas and i popped it on the other day whilst putting up the decorations. It’s a hilarious watch with Buddy the Elf finding his real father in the city of New York whilst spreading Christmas Cheer.

A Christmas Story has always been my favorite Christmas movie, and really just movie in general! I grew up watching it every single year.
Here in the states we have a channel that plays it for 24 hours on Christmas Day. It seriously never gets old!

ELF and Polar Express are my two favourite Christmas films. I can't wait to watch it this month.
