Travel: Walt Disney World, Florida – Part Four
Another Walt Disney World post, I love writing these and editing the vlogs as It’s reliving it all again. I also love that I have a blog in which I can document my travels like a diary and hopefully in year’s to come, my little blog will be still around to look back on! I may be on Part Four, but I’ve only actually written about our first week but if you are interested in reading my previous posts, you can find Part One here, Part Two here and Part Three here.
Day Nine – Blizzard Beach, The Kitchen Sink & Magic Kingdom
Monday Morning, My Mum and I hopped on the bus to Blizzard Beach Water park which is on Disney property. The park was slightly disappointing for me especially as the two main attractions were closed and a lot of the food places seemed to be closed despite the park being quite busy. I did, however, love that you could go on a chairlift and also the lazy river was one of the best lazy river’s I’ve ever been on. The theme of the park was great, but I’m not too sure If I would go back. We didn’t end up going to Typhoon Lagoon (the other Disney water park) as we just didn’t have the time and It wasn’t a priority, but I’d like to visit If I ever go back.
After getting changed and ready we made our way to the Beach and Yacht Club for our dining reservations at Beaches and Cream. I’d heard a lot about Beaches and Cream and knew we had to book to dine her, especially because of one special dish they serve; The Kitchen Sink! The Kitchen Sink is an Ice Cream dessert which is recommended to serve 4-8 people and contains everything from fruit, cupcakes, brownies, mars bars, plenty of ice cream and even a whole can of whipped cream. As there was only three of us, It was quite a challenge but we did well and only left a tiny bit of ice cream. It was amazing and not badly priced for $30! I also need to mention how beautiful the Beach and Yacht Club Resort was, It’s my goal to stay there one day!
We then made our way to Magic Kingdom as we had booked some very exciting Meet and Greets on our FastPass+. First stop was meeting Mickey Mouse at the Town Square Theatre. Mickey Mouse even spoke to us, which I’m still not too sure how I feel about that but It was still fun meeting the big mouse! Our other exciting Meet and Greet were with Anna and Elsa, we decided to definitely Fast Pass this experience as they have the longest que! They were both lovely and Anna noticed that I had my hair in plaits just like her, TWINS!
Our third Fast Pass was for the Wishes Fireworks, having a Fast Pass for the fireworks meant that we didn’t have to stand about as long to get a good spot and we actually had a little area reserved. The area was pretty crowded, but it was a really good place to catch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. We also managed to catch a second Electric Light Parade of the evening before heading back to the hotel. Believe it or not, After all that ice cream we ordered Pizza in our hotel – which was delicious!

Day Ten – Animal Kingdom & Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
We decided to re-visit Animal Kingdom as I really loved that park and I was upset that on our previous visit we didn’t meet Mickey & Minnie in their safari gear. After having a little breakfast at Starbucks, we met Daisy Duck then went along to meet Mickey and Minnie. We also checked out one of the animal trails which claimed to have tigers and crocodiles, but we literally saw one bat and a pheasant on the whole trail! Of course, we went on Expedition Everest a couple more times – We all loved that ride!
The afternoon was pretty chilled, we sat by the pool and then got ready for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. We had pre-booked tickets for this event a couple of months in advance and they were around $70, but we couldn’t not go even though it was a little early for Halloween (Mid September). We didn’t go all out with the outfit’s especially compared to some that we saw on the night, but I was happy in my Minnie Mouse inspired attire!
We arrived at Magic Kingdom just gone 5pm, the party officially started at 7pm but it’s common knowledge they let you in from 4pm. The park was still pretty busy, but overall the ques for rides were shorter and it was a great to see everyone’s outfits. After dinner at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, which I would totally recommend for a quick service we went to Enchanted Tales with Belle and met the Seven Dwarves who only do meet and greet’s at these parties. There is a lot going on at these parties, especially different unique character meetings (There was Lotso bear from Toy Story 3, but sadly I didn’t meet him!) so It’s definitely important to prioritize what you want to do. At Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties, they have different Halloween themed Fireworks and a parade which were both incredible. The fireworks honestly blew me away and we also got to trick or treat around the park! It was an amazing night and I am so glad we went to the party. I would recommend going if you get the chance!

I’ve inserted my last vlog of the trip above, which is our last week including the Halloween party and lots of Fireworks and Parades! I didn’t take as many photos’s at the Halloween party as I would have liked, hence why they are all from the Memory Maker! I’ll be doing more blogpost’s like this one as I’ve still got so much to share. I have loved making the vlogs though and It might be the start of something, I’d love it if you checked it out and even subscribed to my channel here! Don’t forget I currently have a giveaway going on where you could win a Tanya Burr Beauty advent calendar here!

Oh my gosh, this looks like SO much fun!
Believe it or not I have never been to Disney World or Disneyland. I feel like those are places that ALL kids get to visit at some point, but not myself.
I really love your Minnie Mouse outfit as well. 🙂

I've been to Disneyland Paris and I was impressed, but not the Florida venue. I'd love to go and you certainly seem to be an expert. I'm really not sure about the Kitchen Sink though!
I am so jealous I have always wanted to go to Disneyland Florida it has been a lifelong dream of mine since I was a child. Hope you had a lot of fun chilling chilling with Donald and Mickey.
