All American Styling with Superdry

I’ve teamed up with Superdry who have put together a Superdry Jacket Icons timeline showing how styles and trends have evolved. We all know I am basically a jackets hoarder, I always think they can really make an outfit. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll have seen me and my many bomber jackets. They seem to have become a staple to my wardrobe over the last decade. When Superdry got in touch asking if I wanted to work with them on this campaign, I obviously gravitated to some of their amazing satin bomber jackets which were totally up my street. Along with bomber jackets, there are wool overcoats, long puffer jackets – basically hundreds of great jackets on Superdry.

As I said, bomber jackets have been a staple in my wardrobe over the last couple of years. I thought it would be great to throw it back with the Superdry Roller Derby Jacket. I feel like this falls into this All American style and paired it with some Converse, skinny jeans and a red lip. Is this 2014 again? I’ve got to say the quality of the Roller Derby Jacket is incredible and I think it’s such a fun piece. Could you imagine going roller skating in this? It would be perfect!

When I travelled around America in 2017, I literally lived in bomber jackets so I think that’s where I related them to the US. They are such an easy piece to jazz up an outfit and I think it’s a typical preppy look with some converse and statement lipstick. It’s also worth mentioning that Superdry stock those American Varsity bomber jackets too, great for completing that all American look.

Superdry have a huge amount of long jackets for men and women. There are literally hundreds of pieces to browse. I’ve got to say the winter long jackets look so cosy and warm. They are certainly on my radar for next Winter to keep me warm. I love there is such a diverse range of styles though giving you the perfect piece to finish off a look no matter what style you are going for.

What’s your most loved style of jacket through the eras?

XOXO
