Looking after your Hands this winter with Hand Masks

I’m sure we can all agree that with the seasons changing, our skin goes through changes too. Even in October, I’ve noticed my skin has certainly become a lot more sensitive in the weather along with being on the drier side. Our hands are one of the main parts of the body to experience a change in colder months. This makes it all the more important to look after your hands with extra moisturising products.

There are so many amazing hand creams that can really make a difference but for that added moisture I’ve been doing weekly hand masks. You’ve all heard of face masks and even foot masks but was you aware that there are masks made for your hands? Slip them on like gloves for 10-20 minutes and the masks will treat your hands with added benefits for your nails too. To be honest, I try and do a hand mask at least once a week and I thought I would share the three that I’ve been using and loving recently.

Nails Inc. Thirsty Hands

The Thirsty Hands Hands Mask spoke to me when I saw the amazing tropical print on the gloves. Give me anything tropical print and I am there. Nails Inc. are a reputable brand in the nail industry so there’s no doubt this mask has added benefits to treat the nails which are so important. Your nails and around them can really get affected by the change in weather too! This mask promises to be super hydrating with botanical extracts, vitamin E and shea butter. You can tell the shea butter really does nourish the hands and really treats them. I’ve found using this one really hydrated my hands and made them so soft! It’s also an added bonus that gloves are super cute!

Neutrogena CICA-Repair Hand Mask

I’ve been using the Neutrogena CICA-Repair Hand Mask for the longest. I think this is actually the first-hand mask of its kind that I came across on the market a few years ago. This mask is probably the best if you are suffering really badly with dry hands. The gloves offer a week’s worth of hand cream usage so it really does pack a punch with nourishing and restoring the skin if you especially have any adverse effects to the colder weather.

IROHA Argan Nourishing Hand Mask

The Iroha Nourishing Hand Mask is the latest one in my collection. I’ve used plenty of facemasks by this brand and have always been pretty impressed. The nourishing hand mask includes argan oil and shea butter and lets me tell you it smells divine. This one certainly wins at the best-scented one! After leaving the gloves on for 15 mins, you can just massage the excess into the skin and it leaves them so moisturised and smelling incredible.

I’ve found using hand masks so helpful! I do suffer from dry hands especially in colder months but it’s so simple and easy to use these on a weekly basis. You can carry on scrolling your phone whilst you’ve got the gloves on. I’ve found using these regularly have made such a difference especially the drier skin around my nails. I’d certainly recommend trying these out if you haven’t before!

Have you used hand masks before?

XOXO
