Diptyque Candles – Worth the Hype?
Now it’s no secret that I am a self-confessed hoarder of scented candles. No matter where I am, I’ll usually pick up a candle or three to add to the collection. As we are getting into the festive season, I can’t resist a good Christmas candle too! However, that’s not the topic of today’s post. I have recently picked up a Diptyque Candle which is basically the creme de la creme of candles. Diptyque are certainly on the high end of the market when it comes to candles but are they worth the hype and money?

The candle that I’ve picked up from the Notino website is the scent Roses. I thought it was quite a safe scent to pick up as I knew I would like it. Alongside the candles, there is also perfumes, aroma diffusers, reed diffusers and even air fresheners available on the Notino website. With a range of scents from Patchouli, Feu De Bois and Ambre.
First of all, we need to mention the iconic packaging. The brand has become so well known for its simplistic black and white packaging that almost oozes luxury. I think we can all agree that the candles and even the perfumes will just be an excellent addition to a dressing table. It’s also worth noting that once you’ve sadly burnt the candle, you would be able to reuse the candle jar. I’ll certainly be popping my make-up brushes in mine!

Obviously, the key selling point for these candles is the incredible scent! As I said, I picked up the Roses one and I’m completely sold. The scent is just incredible and I’m a huge fan. Diptyque is a French fragrance house that dates back to the sixties. They claim that the candles are used with very specific materials and can only be produced in small batches and made to the highest quality. I do have to be honest, you can really tell that these candles are made to a top standard. Whilst it may not be on everyone’s prerogative to own high-end candles, it certainly makes a great gift or a lovely treat for yourself. I for one will enjoy burning my candle when I’m wanting a little bit of luxury in my life.
Have you tried anything from Diptyque?
XOXO
