Mother's Day Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers

Mother’s Day is fast approaching us with just a few days to go. I love doing a gift guide for any occasion and whilst I’ve not done a huge one for Mother’s Day this year, I thought I would put together some great options to treat your Mama if she’s a beauty lover. There’s no better time to spoil your Mum and let her know how much you love and appreciate her. Hopefully in this blogpost, it will give you a few ideas for Mother’s Day gifts.

Starting off with a few fragrances as every women loves a lovely perfume as a gift. My top picks women’s perfume for Mother’s Day this year would be both Gucci Bamboo and Gucci Flora. Both top tier fragrances in my opinion. Bamboo has been a personal favourite for a number of years now and I just think it’s a total classic. It’s elegant, floral and yet quite mature. I also wanted to mention Gucci Flora as this is actually my Mum’s favourite, so it’s fully Mama approved. There is both a Gardenia (pink bottle) version and a Jasmine (turquoise bottle) version of this scent. You can pick up either in a gorgeous gift set on Notino.

We all know I love a bit of Bobbi Brown and this is also a brand which is a great all rounder. They have products for all ages and personally, I think they have some great products for mature skin. There is some gorgeous skincare and gift sets which would be perfect for Mother’s Day. I’ve mentioned it a lot bit the Bobbi Brown hero product for me is the Vitamin Enriched Face Base moisturising primer. This is a great all rounder, not only does it make a great base for make-up, it moisturises and hydrates your skin. It’s not the cheapest product so it would make a good treat for someone.

If you’re looking for more of a make-up item to gift your Mum from Bobbi Brown, a few of the products which I would recommend are the Shimmer Bricks, Lip Colours and another huge favourite of mine is the Smokey Eye Mascara.

I recently picked up a lipstick from the MAC X Whitney Houston collection in the shade Nippy’s Rose for my Mum. She was thrilled with this gift! Keep your eyes out with MAC as there is usually some amazing collections. The Valentine’s Collection is also mega cute.

Finally, it’s not technically beauty but who doesn’t love to light a candle whilst in a big pamper session. I’ve got to say that DW Home are really coming through with their unique scents and gorgeous candles. They seem to have a scent for every occasion no matter what. I’ve taken a shine to the Farm house styled candles which have wooden lids and look very aesthetically pleasing.
