Bedroom Makeover with Desenio
If you’ve been following me on social media, I’m sure you’ll have seen that I’ve been decorating a lot lately. Stefan and I have given our bedroom a little makeover and I’m so pleased with the results. I’m really proud as we did it all ourselves – although it did take a few weeks! We’ve painted the feature wall behind our bed in a gorgeous navy shade from Dulux (Sapphire Salute) and I’ve gone wild in the homeware shops. I’ve also put up a few pieces of wall art from Desenio to decorate the walls. I love Desenio for picking up some prints, there are literally so many to choose from. You’ve got quotes, landscape photography and iconic images such as the Audrey Hepburn portrait.

For the bedroom, I’ve unintentionally gone with a black and white theme. I love the classic feel of the black and white prints and black frames. Behind the bed, we have one of the picture ledges which I think looks great on the navy wall. The ledge holds three NYC themed prints, it’s one of my favourite places in the world and I’m obsessed with these prints. The middle Manhattan Bridge print is for sure my favourite followed by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s which has been put up over my dressing table. I also couldn’t NOT have the Namastay in Bed quote hung in my bedroom. Overall, I’m super happy with the prints in the room. They’ve really tied the room together really well.

I also wanted to share a few other prints which I’ve put up around the house. First off, we’ve got the famous Prada sign. This is currently hanging up in our dining room and coincidentally what everyone will see on my Zoom Meetings at work. It’s quite a big print (50x70cm) but if you’re an avid Gossip Girl fan you’ll notice that the Van Der Woodsen’s also had this print in their apartment. I’ve always wanted one since the Gossip Girl days.

In the Living Room, (which has also been decorated on the opposite wall) I’ve got a mini gallery wall going. I took inspiration from the Desenio website which has loads of inspiration and a tool to create your own gallery wall before you buy. There wasn’t really a theme I was going with on the gallery wall, it’s just a few things that I personally love; Giraffes, Beyoncé, Los Angeles & the sea. Although it’s kinda mix-matched, I think it goes well together.
As you can see, there’s such a wide variety of prints available on Desenio. They also do sell frames of all different sizes and materials, photo mounts, ledges and clips. I’m thrilled to be currently working with Desenio. I’d love to know if you’ve picked anything up, feel free to tag me in your Desenio purchases!
Have you picked anything up from Desenio?
XOXO

I love all the prints but wherever I am I am always drawn to Audrey Hepburn prints there is something so sophisticated about her prints. They really can be the finishing touches to any room
It sounds like they have a great selection of prints and frames for them. My living room wall is a bit naked so might need a fair few.
I love those NYC prints you have above your bed, the black and white photos are beautiful. We have quite a few pictures up around our home that mean a lot to us x
We’re heard a lot of people mention Desenio and their prints (especially the black and white ones) look great!
I love the colour you painted your wall, the dark blue is such a gorgeous, vibrant colour.
