First impressions of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty
About a month ago, I took advantage of a pretty good offer on the Charlotte Tilbury website. The offer was if you spend over £75 you could get a free full-size foundation. I thought this was such a good excuse to try out a few things from Charlotte Tilbury as I had only tried one lipstick before. For the last month, I’ve been using the products I picked up and I thought it would be a great time to do a first impressions.
Charlotte Tilbury is definitely on the higher end of beauty products and the items be quite pricey. I did ask for recommendations on Twitter and got so many replies about various products so I tried to pick up a few that were firm favourites.

Airbrush Flawless Foundation
I’ll start with the Airbrush Flawless Foundation as it’s the item that I got free in the promotion. The foundation usually retails at £34 so it’s not too bad to have got it complimentary in the order. I got this foundation in the shade number 2 neutral after using their online shade match. I would say it’s pretty accurate and I’m really happy with the matchup. First of all, I’ve got to say that the bottle is stunning and looks great on my dressing table. The foundation has amazing coverage, feels moisturising and applies really well. The longevity of the foundation is amazing, it’s super long-lasting and still looks fab at the end of the day. Overall, I think it’s a really amazing foundation but I’m not sure too sure whether I would re-purchase due to personal preference. It’s maybe too much high coverage for what I’m personally wanting.
Hollywood Flawless Filter
The next thing I tried out is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. I believe you can use this product in a range of ways from a primer, stand-alone base, mixed in with foundation or as a highlight on top of your foundation. I’ve been using it mainly as a primer underneath my foundation and I’ve been ever so impressed. It gives your skin such a radiant base before applying foundation. You apply the product with a little dabber, you don’t need too much as it goes a long way. Also worth noting that I got this in the shade 2 Light and this also was £34. I’m a little bit obsessed with this and I can see myself using it for years to come. I will most certainly be repurchasing this and it’s already a firm favourite in my make-up bag.

Filmstar Bronze & Glow
I also picked up a mini Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette. I have wanted to try this palette for the longest time ever but I’ve always been put off by the price which is why I picked up the mini version which retailed at £25. The full-size one is usually around £50. It’s still the perfect size to test out the product and also to have in your handbag. There’s actually quite a lot of product in the mini palette and I think it will still last quite a long time. I got the palette in Light to Medium and the bronzer is a great shade for me. I usually use Nars Laguna for shade reference. It’s the highlighter which really does it for me, it’s just stunning. It really pops the cheekbones and we all know I love a good highlighter, this is easily up there in my top five that I’ve tried. I’m thoroughly impressed and I’m actually tempted to buy the full size one.

Charlotte’s Magic Cream
Finally, the last new addition from Charlotte Tilbury is the famous Charlotte’s Magic Cream. There has been so much hype about this product online and I got so many recommendations. Again, it really is on the expensive side for a 30ml pot at £49 and a 50ml pot for £75. So for those prices, you do really want it to be a full-blown singing and dancing magic cream. Obviously, I did have high expectations of this moisturiser and it actually does live up to the hype. It is one of the best moisturisers that I have tried and I have been really impressed with the results. I’ve found it to be really moisturising and makes my skin feel smooth and radiant. It’s no wonder that it’s so well received in the beauty industry, I’ll most likely be repurchasing this one.
I’d love to hear if you have used anything from Charlotte Tilbury. Have you used any other products you could recommend?
