Beauty: Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara

July 24, 2014
A couple of weeks ago, I was kindly sent Bourjois’ brand new Volume 1 second mascara to test out. Whilst I rarely use anything other than my holy grail product that is Benefit’s They’re Real , I thought I would give it a go.

The mascara is said to give you super-glamorous lashes in a record time. I certainly found it very easy to apply the mascara and with it’s unique wraparound spherical bristles it creates volume immediatly. I was really impressed with this mascara, I didn’t have to repeatedly layer on it on my lashes. It was quite and simple with effective results.

Like I previously said the brush is what makes it unique with little spheres amongst the bristles. I think this really makes a difference. My only issue is that it gets really gloopy at the end of the brush as seen in a photo below.

The Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara* is available in stores now and at £9.99 – I think it’s worth the money and a really great product.

XOXO

this mascara looks cool 🙂 I think most of the mascaras brushes leave a layer of mascara on the tip of it… :/

  2. Looks like a good one, it's always good to find new drugstore mascaras!

  3. I really want to try this after reading some great reviews about it! I think finding a good mascara is difficult but Bourjois have some great products. I particulary love their bromzer which I have blogged about recently.

Still on the hunt for my perfect high street mascara. I think I could deal with the floppy end so will give this a try!

This mascara sounds really good! I've heard so many good reviews about it I might have to pick it up next time I'm on the look out for a new one.
