My Favourite Cleansers Right Now
For me, Skin Cleansing is one of the most important parts of your skincare routine. Once you’ve found some hero cleansing products, the rest of your skincare routine will easily fall into place. I’ve been quite lucky that in the last year or so I’ve tried out a few cleansers which I have grown to absolutely love and I thought I would share them with you. Personally, I love a good Cleansing Balm, I feel that they work way better with my skin. I tend to avoid any cleansers which foams and anything which is super rough or abrasive to my skin.

Elemis Pro Cleansing Balm
I know this is a top favourite for a lot of people and I finally bought into the hype last year after using it at a Spa demonstration. Elemis really do some of the best Cleansing Balms out there and I’ve now tried both the original Elemis Pro-Cleansing Balm and also the Rose version which I’m actually currently using. Both Cleansing Balms smell incredible but I am partial to the Rose scented one. The Cleansing Balm comes with a cleansing cloth. I use it both on a morning and on an evening before my full skincare routine. It does an amazing job of really deep cleansing and getting into the skin and removing all make-up and dirt. Afterwards, the skin feels so soft, clean and nourished.
If you’re on the fence about trying this, I’d 100% recommend you do so. However, it is an oily formula so I would bare that in mind if you do have oily skin. I’ve read online that it does suit all skin type so I think it would be okay. You can also purchase this cleanser as part of a giftset and get a few other bits with it. I’m also a top fan of the Elemis Soothing Toner at the moment!

Emma Hardie Moringa cleansing balm
I’ve spoken about the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm quite a lot after trying it out in the second half of last year. This is another really hyped up cleanser and I’ve got to say I very much enjoy it. Although it’s a Cleansing Balm, it’s quite different to the Elemis one in that it’s not as oily. However, it works really well with cleansing and buffing the skin. I don’t think it removes eye make-up as well as the Elemis one but overall, it does really a great job of removing make-up. I’ve got a few new Emma Hardie products I’m going to be trying so I’ll let you know how I get on with them.

Bioderma Cleansing Micellar Water
The Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Micellar Water has been a staple in my beauty cabinet for at least the last 10 years! I bought my first bottle from a French Pharmacie in Paris when I was 16. Since then, I have gone through many bottles. This certainly isn’t a product you could use solely to cleanse but I do use this after using a Cleansing Balm such as the ones above to really just soothe and refresh the skin. The Bioderma Sensibio range is pretty great overall. I could do a whole other blogpost on that range if it’s something you’d be interested in.
What Cleansers have you been using recently? I’m always on the hunt for new ones!
XOXO
