Beauty: Babyliss Hot Brush and Tigi Goodies

The lovely people from Fragrance Direct sent me a lovely hamper full of hair goodies including the Babyliss Hot Brush and some Tigi Goodies. I’ll be honest to say I’ve never owned a hot brush and I didn’t really know what to do with one.

Babyliss Pro Ceramic 13mm Hot Brush*

After watching a couple of Youtube tutorials I decided to go for some loose waves and channelling Kate Middleton. The Brush heated up (and cooled down) very quickly and I soon began to twist it through my hair. The results were really nice, the curls are a lot looser and sleeker than using a regular curling iron but It did take a little bit longer as I wasn’t used to using it.

Next time using this, I really want to work on adding a lot of volume to the top of my hair and I think this appliance would be really great at doing this. Especially using the TIGI plumping spray I was also given. After my hair was done I used the TIGI Catwalk Sleek Mystique Lock Lock Hairspray to keep my curls in. My waves was still there the following day and the spray held it together well.

I also tried out the Tigi Body Booster Plumping Spray, it worked quite well and boosted my roots. My only issue was the smell, I wasn’t very keen on it at all.
