Travel: Whitby
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve took a few trips to Whitby. It’s not too far from where I live but I find it such a lovely place to visit. If you’ve never been before it’s worth a visit. Filled with amazing fish and chips shops, cute unique pubs and cobbled streets filled with little independent shops. Whitby was the setting of the Dracula tale so there’s a horror vibe to the place with ghost trails and vampire-themed shops.
It’s got all the lovely aspects of the seaside, great food, a lovely beach with pastel-coloured beach huts and a very long pier. We even went to the Quayside Restaurant which was voted the best Fish and Chips in the National Fish and Chips Awards. It was pretty amazing and as I’m from the seaside you can’t beat a good bit of fish. You truly appreciate it when you move to the city!

Love this post! I visited Whitby in July, and it was so nice to see the seaside. The chips were also lovely. I visited the Abbey too! I only wish I would've taken my DSLR 🙁 haha!

It looks so pretty here! I'm going to university in Cornwall, literally leaving tomorrow! The pier sounds so lovely, there used to be one in my home town but it burnt down in 2007 >< Lovely pictures x
I've never been before but it looks so picturesque! I like Cornwall in general. 🙂

I've never been to Whitby, but now I'm at uni in Sheffield I'm not so far away. Would love to see how it compares to my seaside home of Torbay, my favourite thing about there is definitely the pretty marina and the numerous fish and chip shops! Great post 🙂
Wow the picture looking down on the houses and sea is breath taking! x
Stunning photos, I love Whitby! x
