Apologies for not posting in a while but I’ve just got back after a few days in Spain! It was such a lovely break and I’m sure I’ll do a blog post on it as we actually visited Barcelona too! I’m now trying to get back on top of blogging whilst enjoying this British heatwave too.
I can’t believe it is July already, I thought I’d do my beauty favourites today as I always forget to do it every month. Although I haven’t bought many new products recently, I’ve started to use a lot of different items that I already own.
Naked 2 Basics Palette // Mac Eyeshadow in All That Glitters // Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum // Victoria’s Secret Body Mist in Love Spell // Rodial Glamstick in Psycho
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in Vanilla – This foundation has been overlooked for a while but recently I’ve been loving it. It gives great coverage and stays on the skin really well. I really like that this a gel foundation and looks quite dewy but I really like that.
Mac Eyeshadow in All That Glitters – I do love a shimmer eyeshadow, this is not too over the top and such a beautiful shade. It wasn’t what I was expecting as it was a lot more pinkier than expected. It’s now become a staple item to my eyeshadow collection.
Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Eyeshadow Palette – I have had this for ages and haven’t got round to using it. As I said before, I do love shimmer shadows but this palette provides fabulous matte shadows which are perfect for bases. I have been using ‘Stark’ everyday as a base and the darker shades in the crease.
Rodial Glamstick in Psycho* – I was kindly sent this at the beginning of the month and as I’ve never any Rodial make-up I was interested to see what the Glamsticks would be like. I ended up loving them and this one in Psycho is a gorgeous bright coral which looks amazing in the Summer sun. The Glamsticks are very moisturising which I love and the packaging is so sleek!
Victoria’s Secret Body Mist in Love Spell – I had been eyeing this up for awhile and when Victoria’s Secret did a student event with 20% I jumped and bought it. They are around £13 full price but totally worth it. Love Spell is just incredible and smells of a mix of cherry blossom and peach!
