My Four Favourite Yves Saint Laurent Beauty products

I’ve started to get back into my beauty products a little bit more and writing more beauty-focused content. I’ll still try and keep a mix of lifestyle, travel, food but I’ve got a few beauty posts coming up. I’ve recently just got very into playing about with my beauty collection, trying new items and experimenting with products. There are a few brands which really stand out to me and I’m going to be doing a few favourites posts. Yves Saint Laurent is probably my most well-loved luxury beauty brands. There are a few products from YSL which I reach for on the daily and have become staples in my make-up bag, I thought I would share my top four.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche éclat

First up is probably one of the most well-loved products from Yves Saint Laurent. The touche éclat is branded as a highlighter but I’d say it’s more of a highlighting concealer. I think it’s an excellent concealer for the under-eye area. I think I was pretty late to the party with trying it a while back but I could see why it lived up to the hype. I think this is the third or fourth one that I’ve picked up and I got it with this cute limited edition packaging! Yves Saint Laurent frequently do collections where they have the most adorable packing, there’s been polka dots, animal prints and stars on the touche éclat. I’ve got to say the hearts are a personal favourite.

Aside from the gorgeous packaging, the product itself is worth investing in. I find it really high coverage and you just apply with a little brush on the end. I do think you get through the product quite fast which is a shame but overall, I’m a big fan of YSL touche éclat.

Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara

When it comes to Mascara, I can be super fussy. It takes a lot to impress me and that is what the Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara did. So much so, that it’s one that I have repurchased a few times. I’ll admit that the brush isn’t perfect for me but if you apply with a steady hand, you get beautiful voluminous lashes. Most of the time I do have lash extensions so I don’t use mascara as much as used to. I do like having the false lash effect which in between extensions this mascara provides the results I’m wanting. It’s also worth saying at this time of the year that there’s usually some great YSL giftsets including this mascara!

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick

Overall, I’m a massive fan of Yves Saint Laurent lip products. Whether it’s a matte lipstick of the Rouge Volupté shine balms, I’d recommend investing. I have a fair few from YSL but I do like these Rouge Volupté shine lipsticks, they are so moisturising and perfect for everyday wear. In particular, I love this coral shade which really does give the lips a lovely sheen of colour. Not to mention, they also have a lovely scent to them!

Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Blush

Sadly, the last one on my list is no longer available. This YSL Radiant Blush is from a limited collection a few years ago and is just utterly adorable. The packaging is one of my favourites in my whole beauty collection. The blush itself is a gorgeous baby pink which has a gently sparkly running through the powder. This shade just adds a beautiful rosy glow to the cheeks.

Have you tried anything from YSL before? Do you have a favourite from the brand?

XOXO
