A Dapper Guide to Autumn Scents for Men

A Dapper Guide to Autumn Scents for Men

Welcome to yet another blogpost all about Autumn. At this point, I may as well become a representative for the season as it’s literally my whole personality at this point. Today’s post I’m talking about Men’s Autumn fragrance though. I don’t know about you but I do buy my other half quite a lot of fragrances so I’m quite clued up on what’s what. As the seasons change, it’s time to switch up your Autumn aroma’s. We’re talking autumnal woody notes, warm vanilla or even something slightly spicy – So what are my top pick of scents for this Autumn?

Hugo Boss BOSS Bottled

Hugo Boss is such a classic when it comes to iconic fragrances for men. It’s always a top hit with Stefan and he has tried many different fragrances by Hugo Boss. BOSS Bottled was introduced in 1998, this iconic fragrance unfolds with crisp apple and citrus top notes, followed by a heart of spicy cinnamon and clove. The base notes reveal a suave combination of sandalwood, vetiver, cedarwood, and vanilla. This is an excellent scent as we transition into Autumn especially given the notes of Apple and Cinnamon.

Another scent perfect for Autumn is The Scent Absolute also by Hugo Boss. This is a pretty new one for the brand and is more of an oriental spicy scent. Certainly one for maybe date nights or nights on the town during Autumn.

Calvin Klein Obsession

I’ve mentioned this fragrance a fair few times on my blog as it’s a firm favourite from Stefan. The amount of bottles that he’s gone through is crazy! Calvin Klein Obsession for Men is also a pretty affordable option but is great for the Autumn months. Launched in 1986, its enduring appeal is a testament to its timeless allure. Opening with a burst of citrus and mandarin, it evolves into a heart of spices like clove and nutmeg, culminating in a warm, woody base of amber and sandalwood.

Versace Dylan Blue

Versace Dylan Blue is one of the new scents in Stefans collection. He’s a big fan of this aftershave which has base notes of Musk, Tonka Beans, Saffron and Frankincense. This is a great transitional fragrance to wear as the Summer days are fading and Autumn is approaching.

Another Versace fragrance i want to mention is the Eros scent. It’s not as traditionally Autumnal as the others with a blend of tonka bean, geranium, and ambroxan. However with notes of vanilla and cedarwood, leaving a warm and lingering trail. Vanilla is a key note for Autumn and can really warm up the scent. There’s some really great vanilla perfume options for women too. There’s something about Autumn, it really is the best time of the year, even scent wise!

Do you have any favourite Autumn scents?

XOXO
