32 Places to Eat Out to Help Out in York

I’ve got another blog post for you today all about the Eat Out to Help Out scheme but this time about restaurants and cafes in York. This is the government scheme which is launching on Monday August 3rd and running through til the end of the month. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday establishments who have signed up to the scheme will be offering 50% off their menus. Establishments signed up to the scheme will offer 50% off per diner (up to a £10 discount) on their meal and non-alcoholic drinks. You don’t need a voucher and you can visit as many times as you wish to on the specific days but it will also be worth checking whether you can book a table in advance. There is no minimum spend and the discount will be automatically applied to your bill.  This is to help the hospitality sector get back on their feet after the last couple of months.

It’s no secret that one of my favourite things is to dine out at a restaurant. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ve booked into a few restaurants across the Yorkshire Coast and have even got some lined up for York. Stefan and I actually spend a lot of time in York (usually eating out) so I thought I would do a similar post to my Yorkshire Coast one and list some of the restaurants in York and it’s surrounding areas which are participating in the scheme. For the full list of participating restaurants, you can visit the government’s website where there is a full list of places in your local area.
