62 Places to Eat Out to Help Out on the Yorkshire Coast

With the governments Eat out to Help Out Scheme starting next week on August 3rd, I thought I would share some of my favourite places on the Yorkshire Coast where you can take advantage of this amazing offer. The Scheme will run throughout the month of August on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting on the 3rd until August the 31st. Establishments signed up to the scheme will offer 50% off per diner (up to a £10 discount) on their meal and non-alcoholic drinks. You don’t need a voucher and you can visit as many times as you wish to on the specific days but it will also be worth checking whether you can book a table in advance. There is no minimum spend and the discount will be automatically applied to your bill.  This is to help the hospitality sector get back on their feet after the last couple of months.

I thought I would do a post for my neck of the woods to share some of my favourite local places which have signed up to the scheme. As I said this offer will be running every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August and it’s a perfect excuse to try out some new places or even visit old favourites. I’ve featured 32 restaurants, cafes and bars included in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme across the Yorkshire Coast in Scarborough, Filey, Whitby and surrounding areas. For the full list of participating restaurants, you can visit the government’s website where there is a full list of places in your local area.
