Moments of Bliss with Lindt Chocolate

November 21, 2016

Over the past couple of weeks, life has been pretty hectic. Some of you may know I’ve been dabbling in this full-time blogger thing for over a year now. It’s obviously such a huge step to take to go full-time. I was really lucky to graduate from University and have the opportunity to really give it a go. We are now a year down the line and it’s only been in the past couple of months that I’ve realised how much my blog has grown and that it actually is a job now! I’m ever so grateful that I can do something I love so much full-time but it can get pretty full-on sometimes. Between now and mid-December I’ll be home for three days, crazy right?moments-of-bliss-with-lindt-chocolate-rachel-nicole-uk-blogger

It’s important, though for my own mental health to take some downtime and relax every now and then. I’ve teamed up with Lindt Chocolate to share some of my bliss moments.

Of course, sitting down in front of the fire in my PJ’s with a hot chocolate and a box of Lindor by Lindt chocolates is the perfect way to relax. It’s no secret that Lindt Chocolates are my favourites, every Christmas and Birthday I’m lucky enough to get a box. I never knew that the Lindor chocolates which have a soft melt-in-the-mouth centre was actually created by accident. Apparently, one Friday evening the chocolate machine was left on all weekend with the chocolate mix inside. This created the first experience of the chocolate we all know and love!

As we are now in the run up to Christmas, the best way to unwind and relax for a couple of hours is to snuggle up and enjoy a festive movie. I’m a little bit excited to sit down munching on some chocolates and watch my favourites such as ELF (obviously), Love Actually, The Holiday and The Polar Express. I’m also a little bit addicted to watching that Christmas 24 channel.

The best way to relax and unwind is to take away technology. Switch off and have a bliss moment to yourself. I used always find myself saying that I don’t read as often as I would like as “I don’t have time” which this means I’m probably scrolling Instagram or catching up on e-mails. I’ve been switching off in the evenings and making time to get engrossed in a good novel. Next up on my reading list is obviously, Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them!

Are you a fan of Lindt Chocolate? How do find moments of bliss in your life?

  1. It is important to have some down time from work and blogging can be very full on. I’ve been blogging for years and get very little time off. It’s great to be able to get a break and relax with some yummy chocolate.

I love Lindt chocolates and I stock them whenever I can 🙂 I didn’t know that they created the soft centre by accident, what a good accident 😀

I love Lindt little chocolates. They are the perfect little bite to put you in a better mood at an instant.
I still remember when my husband worked with the brand a few years ago and made their chocolate with coffee pairings – I ate so much chocolate at the time :))

Oh gosh I love Lindt chocolates! Nothing beats curling up on the couch with a blanket and a good movie and a box of chocolates. 🙂
