My Dream Travel Wishlist for 2018
Since returning from America, I’ve spent the last couple of weeks looking at holidays and working out where I’d love to visit this year. Travel is always on my mind and I always have a long Travel Wishlist of places I’d love to explore. I currently have nothing solid booked for 2018, aside from Traverse in Rotterdam in May. As always, my 2018 Travel Wishlist is pretty unrealistic but it gives me something to work towards, right?

Rome & Venice
Last year, I finally visited Italy after years of dreaming about it all. I actually went to Milan with Cheapflights.co.uk and loved it, especially all the food. This year, I’d love to go back and visit Rome and Venice. Ideally, I’d love to interrail around Italy and visit lots of places such as Naples, Florence, Verona, Lake Como & Sorrento. However, I’ve found some amazing deals on short city breaks for Rome and Venice, so that’s looking a lot more realistic.

Cruise
I’ve never really given much thought to going on a cruise before but the older I’ve got it’s something I’d love to try once. It’s a great way to see multiple places in a short amount of time. The dream would be a cruise around the Carribean or a Nordic Cruise. Bolsover Cruise Club has some fantastic last minute deals on Fred Olsen Cruise Lines starting at just £259!
Rotterdam
The only trip which I’ve got 100% confirmed is Rotterdam in May. I’ll be heading over to Holland for the Traverse Conference. I’m pretty excited to visit Rotterdam for the first time as it looks like a great city. If you’re interested in attending Traverse, I wrote up my experience from the conference last year in London. Spoiler: It’s a pretty fun couple of days!
Zurich
After my trip to Rotterdam, I’m hoping to travel around a bit and I’ve been looking into flying to Zurich. One of my friends who I met on Trek America lives there and I’ve never visited Switzerland before. I don’t really know a lot about Zurich so it will be great to explore an entirely new city!

Copenhagen
If you’ve been following me for a while, you might remember that last February I went to Copenhagen. I absolutely loved it over there and just fell in love with the place. However, I wasn’t 100% keen on the sub-zero temperatures no matter how pretty the city was covered in snow. Also, one of the main attractions; Tivoli World was closed during the winter season which is why I’d love to visit in Summer. I can imagine the city really comes alive in the sunshine and I just really want to go back to the insanely delicious food.

Australia
Okay, so this is a big one. The past couple of months, visiting Australia has become a big priority. It’s not looking like 2018 will be my year to go down under but I’m going to start planning and saving for potentially next year. I really want to visit Sydney, Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. I have a few friends out there so it would be really nice to catch up with them as well as going on whole new incredible adventure.

Las Vegas
I think it’s safe to say I had the time of my life in Las Vegas last year. So much, that I ended up going back again a couple of weeks later. Sin City really was a highlight of my trip across America. Fingers crossed, I’m hoping to book a few days over there later this year. Vegas for my Birthday would be the dream. I’ll have a few blog posts coming up about my time in Las Vegas and what I got up to. That place really blew my mind.
What’s on your 2018 Dream Travel Wishlist?

Rome is right at the top of my list! It’s one of my all-time favourites cities and I’m determined to go!

Ahh Venice is incredible I was there last April and I’d definitely say that’s a good time of the year to visit before it gets too hot and too crowded. I loved Copenhagen when I went too, I managed to go to Tivoli in September and it was amazing, definitely worth returning to visit 🙂 xx
So many incredible places! I would love to visit Australia at some point, though the distance does put me off slightly. I’ve been to Venice with my family and it is truly stunning 🙂
Venice is such a beautiful place – I visited a few years ago with my family. I would also like to visit Australia, but the distance does put me off if I’m honest 🙂
I am so with you on Copenhagen – I’m desperate to go there! I’m ticking Iceland off my list this year.
I visited Sorrento a couple of years ago on a road trip that took in Rome, Florence and Venice…it’s a must! SO beautiful!
This is such a fun idea. There are so many places that I wish I could visit.
I would like to experience a cruise too. Hubby isn’t a bit fan of this idea but I am working on him so who knows…
I would absolutely love to go to New York. It’s been my dream for years!
What a wonderful list! My list includes Italy and a cruise. Fingers crossed. I hope you fulfil yours too. Kaz
I’ve been to Rome and it is amazing. Venice is number one on my list but the husband and I disagree about cruising. I really want to experience one of those vast trips but the Husband wants something smaller like a river cruise or a boat down the Nile.
Las Vegas is high up on my bucket list too! I’d love to head there in 2018 x
Lots of awesome places to visit! Can I suggest New Zealand if you go to Australia? It’s my fave country in the world!
