April 2016 Beauty Favourites
It wouldn’t seem that it is already the end of April what with all of this snow but it’s that time again where I’m rounding up my monthly beauty favourites. I haven’t written a favourites post since January as I filmed Spring favourites last month which I will link below or you can view here.
My first favourites won’t come as much of a surprise as I’ve already raved about them in My First Impressions of The Balm post but I had to mention them again. The Balm’s Mary-Lou Manizer* is a game-changer, It’s up there with Becca’s Champagne Pop – That’s how much I love it. This highlight it really pigmentated but not too over the top with the glitter and just gives the cheekbones the perfect shimmer. I have also been loving The Balm’s Blush in Fratboy, this is a really lovely peachy shade and looks really subtle on the cheeks.
Over the past couple of months, I have been guilty of favouring matte lipsticks and in particular matte liquid lipsticks. They’ve obviously been having a moment and whilst I love my NYX Matte Lip Creams I thought it was about time I switch it up! I think I picked up the Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick on some sort of spend £10 and get it free offer in the shade Pretty In Nude. This lipstick is really creamy, moisturizing and long-lasting. A really underrated mascara that deserves more recognition is the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eyes Mascara, I have been using this non-stop for the last couple of months. The formula is slightly wetter than the Benefit ones but it’s a really good mascara to add length to the lashes and also as it says on the tin, it’s great for a smokey eye look!
Another product I’ve previously mentioned is the Timebomb Derm Warfare Night Serum, I’ve really noticed a difference to my skin since introducing this product to my skincare routine. My skin feels firmer and brighter in the morning and as there is glycolic acid in the serum it helps dry skin. I also need to mention the Too Faced Chocolate Palette, I did mention this is my Spring Favourite video (below) but this palette is just at the top of my radar at the moment. Beautiful shades which are really pigmentated and best of all? The shadows contain cocoa powder therefore it smells of chocolate!
What products have you been loving this month? Have you tried any of the products I mentioned?

Ah I feel like I need that eyeshadow palette in my life!
