Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Review

I’m sure if you’re on TikTok as much as I am, especially the beauty side of TikTok you’ll have seen this product. The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré has been making its rounds on social media as a must-have over the last couple of months. This product has actually been a cult beauty favourite for YEARS. In fact this product was actually released in the 1950s! I think I first bought this product at least a decade ago on a Uni trip to Paris.. So, is it really worth the hype?

I’ll admit, I haven’t used the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré for a few years but all this noise on TikTok has made me go out and repurchase. This product is pretty much a great all-rounder. It moisturises, primes and can even be used as a mask. The product claims to plump the skin, soothe it and leave it super nourished which is all things we want right? I’ve found that not only is this a great moisturiser, it’s a great primer and is excellent for preparing the skin before applying make-up.

I’ve been using the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré every morning as my moisturiser but also as my primer. I’ve found that it’s a great primer and my make-up looks more radiant. I’ve also found that since using this product, the general redness on my face has gone down a lot. I feel that my skin is a lot more soothed. It’s an excellent hydration boost as it’s ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid. The consistency of the cream is a lot thicker to what I usually use but it’s not heavy on the skin, nor does it look it. It blends and sinks into the skin really well leaving a satin and radiant finish.

Whilst i’m also a big fan of the Bobbi Brown Face Base for priming the skin, this certainly is another great option for priming the skin. It’s also a lot more affordable which is always a bonus. Another thing to mention, if you’ve got a boyfriend who steals your skincare, like me – This is a great product to give them as it can be used as a post-shaving cream! Overall, this is a great multi-tasking cream which I most certainly will be using every day from now on. It’s another firm favourite which has been re-discovered.
