Event: An Afternoon with Victoria Quarter, Leeds

January 17, 2016

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to the Victoria Quarter in Leeds to visit a couple of stores to see their new collections and what they have going on. The Victoria Quarter is a gorgeous shopping arcade with some beautiful high end boutiques and shops and is also one of my favourite places in Leeds.

The first store we headed to was Illamasqua for a makeover and to have a little play around with everything. My makeover focused mainly on my brows and lips and oh my goodness, my brows have never looks so good. The phrase ‘Eyebrows on Fleek’ has never been more appropriate. Ever since this make-over I’ve been trying to recreate them but sadly I don’t get the same effect!

The next store we went to was Sandro, which is a store I don’t activley look in but I am a massive fan of their sherling jackets and I have wanted one for a number of years. Looking at the collections, there was some gorgeous lace dresses and beatiful suede handbags. The sale had just kicked off in store so there was a few discounts and Jenna persuaded me to try on a navy jacket in the sale which had caught my eye, It was seriously love at first sight. It was very tempting as it was 50% off but unfortnatly a little over my budget.

We also paid Links of London who treated us all like queens with prosseco and chocolates. They had recently just lauched their new 25th anniversary Timeless collection which is inspired by the design on the face of Big Ben. The design is absolutley beautiful and we all cooed over the rose gold pieces before been presented with some stunning diamond pieces that were worth £3,000+ – A girl can dream, right?

Finally we were treated to Afternoon Tea at the Harvey Nichols Expresso Bar which is located just in the arcade by the Harvey Nichols store. With the Afternoon Tea I ordered an Apple Crumbler warm mocktail which was the perfect winter’s drink for the festive season. The Afternoon Tea was absolutly lovely and as a big dessert lover, the orange cheesecake and chocolate tart was on point. Apologies for the yellow-tinted photo’s, my camera really didn’t agree with the lighting!

I had such a great afternoon at the Victoria Quarter and meeting some lovely Leeds Bloggers. If you’re ever in Leeds, definatly go to the Victoria Quarter and have a little mooch around the beautiful stores.

Your brows and lips, do look 'on fleek'. 🙂
I have yet to have a proper wonder around the Victoria Quarter. Definitely need too.
