When I find a good lip product I love, I buy it in every shade three times and make sure it never leaves my side. When gathering up some of my favourite lip products, it turned out very quickly that I have a fair few lip products I can’t live without. This post went from The Top Five to Top Seven to finally The Top Ten Lip Products. I wanted to include everything from budget lipsticks, high-end lipsticks, lip scrubs and lip balms.
If you’re looking for a serious bargain buy, the Make-Up Revolution Amazing Lipsticks are an absolute steal for only £1. I absolutely love the shade ‘The One’, the lipstick is really creamy and great quality for £1.
It wouldn’t be a Top Lip Products without mentioning MAC and to be totally honest when I bought my first MAC lipstick four years ago, I wasn’t that impressed and thought they were really over-rated. I then bought Peach Blossom, which is still my favourite MAC shade (such a gorgeous nude) and it just loved it from then onwards. I recently got Up The Amp* which is a gorgeous purple shade
My favourite high-end lipstick is the Rouge Dior Lipstick, I bought this one in the shade 259 Miss for my Graduation and it’s a beautiful subtle rosy pink shade and really long-lasting. I’ve tried a couple of high-end lipsticks but Dior is definitely my favourite.
Moving on to Lip Scrubs, the Lush Lip Scrub one needs to be in your life and it comes in some incredible flavours. The Santa’s Lip Scrub is a Christmas exclusive and smells like cola which I love! I also really like the Bubblegum one and I believe there are quite a few other flavours now. I use a lip scrub before bed and it really helps moisturise and scrub away any dead skin on the lips.
Another product I use to moisturise my lips is Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm which I originally bought from a French Pharmacie but it’s now widely available in the UK. This is the best lip balm I have used, I get quite dry lips and this balm works wonders. I also have the stick version which I don’t think it’s as good as the product consistency isn’t as thick but it’s great to quickly pop on.
The Maybelline Babylips is another staple in my make-up bag if I just want a little pop of colour and I’m not really bothering with make-up. These are a great bargain at £2.99 and just completely fuss-free, hydrating and this Pink Punch one gives the lips such a pretty tint.
I mentioned the Too Faced Melted lipsticks in my favourites of 2015, I am loving these Matte lipsticks at the moment. I bought the French Kisses Christmas set so I’ve got a few shades to try out but I currently love the shades Chihuahua and Berry.
A similar product I am loving and I’m sure you’ve heard me mention this also in my favourites of 2015 and all over social media but the NYX Matte Lip Creams are just the best. I am doing a full review of all the ones I have very soon! The shade Copenhagen is the perfect nude my favourite at the moment.
I also really wanted to mention the Nars Satin Lip Pencil, I got the shade Rikugien in the NarsXGlossybox and it’s a great product. Really long-lasting, gorgeous shade and I now want more shades!
I recently picked up a couple of KIKO smart lip pencil as they were only about £1.20 which is a complete bargain and thought I would try them out. These are really great for the price point and I actually prefer them over the MAC lip liners as I find them to be just really dry and stiff.
Have you tried any of these products? What are your top lip products?
