Over the past couple of months, I have been eagerly waiting for the limited edition Glossybox in partnership with Nars. The box was released on the 16th of November and sold out completely in the pre-sale immediately. Even though the box is sold out and not available, I thought I would share what was in the box as I’m pretty excited about it.
Nars is one of my favourite beauty brands as there are so many staple items (you can read about my top 5 Nars must-haves here) so I had to get my hands on the box which cost £30 for subscribers to Glossybox and £35 for non-subscribers.
I’ve never actually ordered a Glossybox before and this was my second beauty box ever, but I think I’m going to get hooked. It’s quite nice receiving a monthly box of beauty goodies! The actual box had a matte feel exactly like the Nars product packaging which was a nice touch.
I was most excited about the Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien being in the box as I’ve heard lot’s of great stuff about Nar’s lip products and never tried them. This is quite a generous size, I’m not sure if it’s full-sized, but it wouldn’t be far off. There’s also a sample of the Audacious Mascara which I also haven’t tried, I’ve heard mixed reviews of this so I’m interested in trying it out and seeing for myself. It’s quite a small sample, but I think it’ll last a couple of weeks. Another product for the eyes was the Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto, I haven’t tried this yet but I do love a good eyeliner so we will see! As the box was showcasing some of the brands staple items the famous Blush in Orgasm was included, I already own this but It’s a great product to include in the box for people being introduced to Nars. I’ve included a picture of how big the product is in comparison to a standard blush, It’s a similar size to an eyeshadow by Nars. There was also The Multiple in Orgasm which I’m really looking forward to trying as The Multiple has been on my wishlist for ages. I’ve had a little play about with it and it seems like a great product and really blendable.
This box is perfect if you are a Nars lover like me and wanting to try out a few different products or want the special limited edition deluxe mini’s and it’s also perfect to introduce people to the brand. I’m glad I picked it up to try out some new products especially the satin matte pencil and the multiple.
Have you tried anything from Nars? Did you get your hands on this collaboration?
