Gucci Bamboo Fragrance & Notino.co.uk Haul

Do you have that one perfume that when you walk into your local department store you spray yourself silly with it? Bamboo by Gucci has been that perfume for the past couple of months and I’ve finally got my hands on it. I’ve teamed up with Notino.co.uk to work on a couple of posts with them and they stock loads of different make-up, fragrance, skincare and haircare brands including Gucci perfumes. Keep reading to see what else I’ve been haulin’ from the website.

My usual go-to style of perfume has always been very fruity and florally. Gucci Bamboo Eau De Parfum is inspired by Gucci’s accessory line. The collection featured handbags with bamboo handles, it was a pretty dreamy collection. Back to the perfume, I’d say Bamboo is slightly more mature than the fruity and floral scent I would usually go for. Maybe that’s me growing up? There still is strong floral top notes with Italian Bergamot and Orange Blossom but with a strong vanilla and Deep Sandalwood base notes. It smells really lovely and although it’s quite a strong and intense scent it’s still very feminine.

The bottle is also really pretty. Put it this way, it’ll make a very lovely prop for the blog photos. I’ve got the perfume in 30ml and it’s the perfect size to pop in my handbag and carry it about with you.
