A Day At the Seaside
I absolutely love having days at the beach, and living at a seaside resort means that as soon as the sun shines, I can run down to the beach and enjoy. A day at the seaside would not be complete without a couple of things, Ice Cream, and a flutter in the arcades. As a child, I was always in the amusement arcades and in those days you won soo much! I would come back with about fifteen stuffed toys, nowadays you are lucky if you win, but it’s still heaps of fun for all the family.
I never realised how lucky I was to be brought up by the seaside until I went to University in Birmingham and found myself miles away from the coast. I’ve never really experienced travelling across the country to have a day at the seaside as It’s literally on my doorstep. This summer, I’ve spent a lot of time at the beach and enjoying all the little touristy places such as visiting my local castle.
For my day at the seaside, I wore this lovely floral tunic from White Stuff. As I was keeping the look casual, I wanted something practical and lightweight which was what this. There is some lovely printed tunics on the White Stuff here, I have my eye on the palm tree one! I tucked the tunic into my new ‘Rosa’ Shorts from Topshop which I bought for Florida. They fit perfect and were in the sale for only £15! Bargain!
To finish off the day, you cannot beat Fish and Chips from the seaside. Believe me, I’ve tried them around the country and nothing beats getting it straight from the seaside. I thought I’d include a photo of me devouring my haddock!
I have a Mac Giveaway going on where you could win a lipstick and eyeshadow of your choice, find out more here!

Your day at the seaside looks wonderful. The locale is beautiful, ice cream and chips are always yummy, and the arcade and rides look like fun. Your red floral print tunic from White Stuff looks pretty and so do your nailpolish and mascara.
This looks like so much fun. I hope we get an Indian Summer – doesn't look hopeful though! xx
