Beauty: August Favourites

September 2, 2015
Over the bank holiday weekend, I celebrated my 21st Birthday! I was utterly spoilt and had the best weekend with family and friends. Hopefully, I’ll do a little post or post some pictures on Social Media as there are some great snaps! I don’t feel any different, but at least I can now drink in America!

I can’t believe it’s now September, this year has gone so fast! Before I leave it too long I thought I should post my August Beauty favourites. I was supposedly on a make-up ban but I made a couple of purchases this month which made my favourites.

Lulu Guinness Perspex Clutch // Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water // Nars Laguna Bronzer // Tanya Burr Everyday Flutter False Eyelashes // Tarte Amazonian Clay Blusher in Tipsy // Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturiser

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water – I am a massive fan of Bioderma and usually stock up whenever I’m in Paris as the prices are so low. I am now down to my last bottle so I decided to try out something new. Garnier has been the best Micellar Cleansing Water I have tried and it’s really affordable. The little mini bottles are currently £1 in Boots if you are interested in trying it out.

Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder – This month I finally caved and purchased Nars Laguna from Space:NK. The powder actually looks really dark but once applied it goes on a treat and I’ve been loving this for a glow to my face. You can really tell why this is such a best seller.

Tanya Burr Everyday Flutter False Eyelashes – I know Tanya Burr recently relaunched her beauty collection and they all have beautiful new packaging but this also meant that her old lashes were being sold in TK:Maxx for only £1.99. I am already a massive fan of her individual lashes but Everyday Flutter are three-quarter stripped lashes. I don’t wear false eyelashes a lot and personally wouldn’t wear these Everyday but I really loved wearing them over my Birthday to add volume and depth to my lashes! Also, they didn’t fall off and was really easy to apply.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blusher in Tipsy – I’ve owned this for such a long time but I haven’t actually used it too much until recently. This is a gorgeous peachy coral blush and is so pretty for summer. These blushers are so highly pigmentated, I am thinking about picking up some other shades in America as the colours are gorgeous!

Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturiser – This was a product I thought was going to be a total fad but I was pleasantly surprised. This spray on moisturiser smells incredible of cocoa butter and doesn’t get all sticky and has done my skin wonders. Completely recommend this and I’m thinking about doing a more in-depth review because I love it that much.

I’m now heading off to pack as It’s my Graduation Ceremony on Friday and I’m travelling down tomorrow. This week has been non-stop but in a good way. Hopefully, I’ll have time to chill and relax next week in time for my American Adventure! Don’t forget, I currently have a giveaway going on where you could win a MAC lipstick & eyeshadow of your choice here!

Gorgeous favourites hun, and happy 21st birthday – was having a flick through your pics earlier and looks like you had an amazing birthday 🙂 I adore the Lulu Guinnes clutch it’s so cute, and Laguna is definitely one of my favourite beauty products and I agree it looks so dark but when applied gives the healthiest of glows 🙂

So glad to hear you had a fab 21st, happy belated birthday! Fab favourites too, I love 3/4 lashes they make life so much easier and whenever I buys trip lashes I normally cut them to 3/4 size anyway as it makes it so much more simple to apply

Thanks Sophie! Yes, I am the same. I find them so hard to apply and end up cutting them up. I normally use Individual ones but I think the 3/4 ones are my new favourites! xo
