London Zoo on Bank Holiday Monday

Spending Bank Holiday Monday in London might not have been the smartest move. It was so incredibly busy but the weather was incredible. After a spot of shopping along Oxford Street and Bond Street we headed over to Regent’s Park. Visiting London Zoo was high on the agenda for the day as we had 2 for 1 tickets from National Rail and neither of us had been before. It seems the whole of London had congregated in Regent’s Park to bask in the sunshine. The Zoo is the other side of the park so it’s quite a lengthy walk, especially in the heat.
Once we arrived at the Zoo, the que was just insane; we are talking hundreds of people. We should’ve known better than to go to one of the most popular outdoor attractions in London on a Bank Holiday. Luckily, we received a tip-off to purchase tickets from the car park booth which didn’t have a que at all! The Zoo was way bigger than I thought it would be and really worth visiting. I even plucked up the courage to step in The Reptile House, solely for the reason it was on Harry Potter.

Yummy Yummy Pinkberry!
