Rating Snacks I Ate At Walt Disney World
I’m back with another blogpost rating the food I ate in Orlando last year. This time it’s all about the snacks I ate whilst visiting Walt Disney World. If you’ve not check out my previous posts where I rate WDW Quick Service Restaurants & WDW Table Service Restaurants – check them out. We all know, there’s some pretty amazing snacks around Disney World from the insane confectionary to unique creations such as Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. So I thought I would do a blogpost with all the details on all the snacks that we tried during our time in Walt Disney World.

Jack Jack Num Num Cookie – 9/10
First up we have the Jack Jack Num Num Cookie which can be found at the Neighbourhood Bakery at Pixar Place in Hollywood Studios. This cookie is inspired by the movie The Incredibles and will cost you $6.19. This is one giant cookie so easily split between two but it’s so delicious I could have it to myself. It’s cooked to perfection and as a massive cookie lover, I was all over this snack. The only thing with the Floridan heat, the chocolate chips were melting all over the shop. IMO, it’s still a must have snack.

Blue & Green Milk – Blue 7/10 and Green 8.5/10
The Blue and Green Milk has become a phenomenon within Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. If you’re a Star Wars fan you’ll be familiar with them. Blue Milk typically is the goto for most visitors at the Milk Stand but we of course, had to try both flavours. You can also have these mixed in with Bacardi Rum or Tequila! The standard milks are $8.49 and $16 for the alcoholic version. This is based on Stefan’s thoughts as he drank the majority but Blue is more fruity and Green is more floral with citrus hints. As I said Blue is typically more popular but Stefan was a bigger fan of Green!
The Milk Stand is at Disneyland California so maybe we will have to give it another go and see which one comes out on top on our next trip!

Frushi at Flower and Garden Festival – 6/10
We visited whilst the Flower and Garden Festival was taking place at Epcot. This meant not only was there incredible topiaries but there was a fair few interesting foodie stands in World Showcase. One I was desperate to try was Frushi from the Japan Pavilion. This is basically a fruit version of sushi. I don’t eat sushi but I was certain i could get on board with fruit sushi. Whilst is was an interesting concept, I was slightly underwhelmed. Potentially more sauce would’ve made it less bland.

Violet Lemonade at Flower and Garden Festival – 7/10
Another addition to Flower and Garden Festival which I was desperate to try was the Violet Lemonade. I had heard so much about this slushy drink which is served at the entrance to world showcase towards Canada. I’m a big fan of violet and I really did love this drink and got it three times! However it is quite tangy with the lemonade.

Mickey Mouse Marshmallow Treat – 7/10
A classic treat. Mickey Mouse Marshmallow Treat can be bought all over the parks but I picked it up from Main Street Confectionary. It’s an iconic fail-safe snack! However again, chocolate and the Floridian sun don’t mix well so it needs to be ate quickly before it melts!

Cheshire Cat Tail – 4/10
This is a controversial opinion. However the Cheshire Cat Tail which can be bought from the Cheshire Cafe for $5.79 did not live up to the hype. This is essentially a pastry with icing but I found this so dry. Maybe I just had one from a bad batch but I wasn’t impressed. Especially given there was so much hype around this.

Raspberry Lunchbox Tart – 5/10
I will rave about Woody’s Lunchbox until I am blue in the face. It’s a great little quick service place for grilled cheese sandwiches (needs more seating though!). At Woody’s Lunchbox their speciality dessert is the Raspberry lunchbox tart for $4.49. The tart is a Raspberry Marmalade stuffed Pastry with icing on top. It was nice but it was something I could easily take or leave. If you’re eating there already it’s a nice little snack to have after a meal but I wouldn’t go especially for this.

Seven Dwarves Speciality Ice Cream from Storybook Treats – 8.5/10
Storybook Treats located behind the castle in Magic Kingdom serve up a range of ice cream treats. I picked up the Seven Dwarves Speciality Ice Cream. I’m not sure if this changes but it was a soft serve ice cream twist with chocolate ice cream. It was a great snack to have in the heat and if you’re not looking for a ice cream cone, they also do sundaes too! How adorable is my ice cream though?!

Dole Whip – 5/10
Another iconic snack is the Dole Whip. I’ve got to say it’s not my favourite. I know it’s iconic but you can get much better slushy styled flavoured drinks. Dole Whip typically is found at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom but we picked one up in Epcot. This is a soft serve pineapple flavoured frozen treat – You can get different varieties such as a flat, raspberry swirl or even with cake! It’s not bad but pineapple just isn’t my favourite.

Night Blossom – 10/10
Moving on to my favourite frozen drink in the whole of Walt Disney World. That is the Night Blossom drink found at Pongu Pongu in Pandora. For $6.29, you can get a mix of Apple and Desert Pear Limeade topped with Boba Balls. This is a top tier beverage for Animal Kingdom and I only wish we’d tried it sooner as I think we’d have got it multiple times. We took ours into Satu’li Canteen to enjoy with their Cheeseburger Bao Buns.

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls – 10/10
Speaking of cheeseburgers, the final snack in this post is the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. Found in Magic Kingdom, these are sold at a dedicated Spring Roll Kart on the left side of the castle. These can also accumulate quite the que and sometimes even sell out! For $9.50, you get two spring rolls and there is a couple of varieties but of course, we got the famous cheeseburger ones! It’s a snack well worth waiting in line for and Stefan went as far as saying it the best snack. Hence the 10/10 rating!
Which snacks at Walt Disney World would you like to try? Do toy have a Walt Disney World snack?
