Eight Destinations For Women to Solo Travel
Nowadays, more women than ever are opting to travel solo and explore the world alone. Maybe it is the freedom you seek or maybe you’re looking for a bit of adventure on your own. Perhaps you hope to make new friends or maybe you just need time away from the old ones. Whatever the reason, if you’re planning to travel alone, you are in a growing majority. In fact, according to the Daily Mail, two-thirds of ladies prefer to travel alone than with a partner.
When travelling alone, you will probably be concerned about the dangers. We have all heard scary stories about lone female travellers going missing or coming to harm, so it’s no surprise that a recent survey by Statista found that 65% of women cited concerns over personal safety as the number one reason that put them off travelling solo.
To take away some of that worry, here is a list of some of the safest places for lone female travellers. These places are full of fun, excitement and experiences, while also being safe enough for you to relax and enjoy yourself.

New Zealand
New Zealand is considered one of the safest places for a lady to travel alone. Its wonderful cities are brimming with life, and you are bound to find plenty of friendly locals and fellow travellers within them.
