It can be a fantastic feeling to leave the hospital after an operation or period of hospitalisation, but it is important to note that it will not be a case of business as normal when you get home. Often, there will be a recovery period following time spent in hospital and this can be difficult and lengthy depending on the reasons for being in hospital.
