What I’ve Been Doing During Lockdown
We’re now into the third week of proper lockdown in the UK. I’ve really wanted to continue with creating content and getting a few blogposts out there. Firstly, I thought it would be great to just have a little chat and tell you what I’ve been doing to keep myself occupied during Lockdown. I’m trying to use my time pretty wisely but it’s also a great chance to just binge watch some TV and chill out. Who knows how long this lockdown will continue on for but I’ve got quite a lot of things on my todo list still to complete. Here’s what I’ve been doing over the last couple of weeks.

Animal Crossing 24/7
Just before the lockdown was announced I purchased a Nintendo Switch Lite and a few games including Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I’m not going to lie, this has been the perfect purchase for an escape from life. I’m fully hooked on playing Animal Crossing and making my little island all pretty all whilst fishing, shakin’ all those trees and catching bugs. I might do another blogpost on Animal Crossing with a few tips and tricks that I’ve discovered. I’m really that passionate about the game!

Baking
I can’t even tell you when the last time I did some baking. I do love that I’ve had this time to experiment and bake a couple of things. So far, I’ve done triple chocolate brownies and chocolate chip cookies. We did face a little barrier when I couldn’t find any flour anywhere but today I managed to snag a 3kg bag of flour. YAY! So I’ll be getting my bake on tommorow and doing some cookies again! I’m also going to do a little research on Pinterest for other ideas of things to bake or even dishes to cook. I’ve also decided I’m going to try and master the perfect homemade Yorkshire Pudding as I believe that’s an important skill to have.

De-clutter & deep clean
I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s been having a little tidy up around the house whilst in lockdown. I started over the weekend but I’m hoping to do a full de-clutter and organise everything. The only thing is I don’t know what I’m going to do with the things I don’t want with the charity shops been closed and it seems a waste to just throw away things. We will see how it goes but I’m hoping by the end of lockdown, I’ll have a de-cluttered and a sparkly clean room.

daily walks in my local area
I’m utilising my daily exercise allowance for a little walk in my local area. I’m super lucky that I live where I live and I’m able to go for walks by the beach. It’s literally a five-minute walk to the beach so I’ve been really taking in the local scenery. I’m just so lucky that this is where I can exercise. I’m always very aware of social distancing and one thing that I’ve noticed is how respectful everyone is been.
binge watching disney+
Of course, I downloaded Disney+ and it’s all I’ve been watching for the past fortnight. If you’re a huge Disney fan like me, you need it! From all the classics to Disney channel favourites, there is so much to watch on there. I’ve already been binge-watching Hannah Montana and all of the High School Musical movies. I also would highly recommend a new documentary series called The Imagineering Story which is all about the Imagineers creating all the amazing Disney Parks. The episodes get released every Friday and they are justs so interesting to watch.
What have you been doing with your time during lockdown?

Great post, I too have been de-cluttering and deep cleaning which I’ve found really therapeutic!
