Skincare Products I Use To Combat Breakouts
I’m pretty lucky with my skin that it’s quite rare I have problematic breakouts. I’m quite strict with my daily skincare routine and I think that helps with keeping my skin clear. However, when I do happen to get breakouts, there are a particular set of products that I use to try and clear my skin as soon as possible.

La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Moisturiser
This has always been my number one product when it comes to combatting spots and acne. I’ve found that La- Roche Posay Effaclar Duo moisturiser really helps clear up any spots within a couple of days. I only apply twice a day; once in the morning and once at night in the affected areas and it’s one of those products that you can feel it working its magic. The only downside is that I find that if you use this product for a long period, it can be quite drying on your skin. I’m not a huge fan of the scent of the product but the product itself really does work well with blemishes.

Avene Redness Minimizing Cleansing Lotion
I’ve been using the Avene Redness Minimizing Cleansing Lotion after I saw that it came highly recommend from skincare guru; Caroline Hirons on This Morning. The main draw for me picking this up was that it helps reduce redness which is a key thing for me. Not only does it reduce redness but I find it really soothing on the skin especially mid-breakout.

Bioderma hydrabio Micellar Water
Another product which works wonders on sensitive skin is the Bioderma Hydrabio Micellar Water. This is actually a product that I use all the time but alongside the Avene lotion, I find it so soothing on my skin. It really calms down the complexion when it’s feeling a little bit angry. I’ve been using a lot of products from Bioderma recently and I really recommend the Hydrabio Range, it’s great for sensitive skin.

Revolution Skincare Glycolic Acid Tonic
Finally, I thought I would mention a few items from Revolution Skincare. I’ve only been using these in the last couple of months since they launched but I am loving the Glycolic Acid Tonic. I feel that using Toner like this is super important to everyone’s skincare routine after cleansing. The Revolution Skincare range is pretty affordable and I’d say this is a great dupe for the Pixi Glow Tonic which is another favourite of mine. I thought I’d also just quickly mention the Revolution Pore Refining Peel Off Mask. This isn’t something I would use to combat spots but I feel like it really helps reduce the look of pores. It’s definitely a brand that I’d love to try more items from.
What products do you use to help with breakouts?

I’ve been using that revolution tonic and really enjoy it. I just make sure I’m always cleansing my skin as I find keeping it as clean as possible helps with breakouts x
