My First Impressions on Bioderma Skincare
After a little break from the online world, I’ve decided to post a few things. It’s a really difficult time at the moment but I think trying to stay away from the c-word on my social channels is for the best which is why I’m going to be posting a few normal things to escape reality. As we are all spending a lot more time indoors, I thought it would be a great time to go through some of my favourite beauty posts and do some write-ups.
A few months ago, I was kindly sent a couple of items from cult skincare brand Bioderma. I’ve actually been using the Bioderma Micellar water for at least the last 8 years. I remember as it was one of those cult items you just HAD to pick-up when visiting Paris at the French Pharmacies. Over the last couple of months, I’ve added a few Bioderma items to my daily skincare routine and I thought I would share my first impressions.

Bioderma h20 Micellar Water
I thought I’d start off with the Sensibio H20 Micellar Water which I have been using for the longest time. So it’s not really a first impression. Although this is slightly more expensive than the regular micellar water that you can get on the high street, I do think it’s worth spending a little bit more as I find that it works well with my skin. I’ve always used the “pink” version of it but recently tried the “blue” version which is from the Hydrabio range. To be honest, I haven’t really noticed a difference between the products but I think they both work well with my skin. The hydrabio range is tailored for more dehydrated skin so will boost the minerals in your skin more. The water is really gentle for using to cleanse and removes make-up quickly. I also find that it works wonders with removing eye make-up.

Bioderma Cleansing Foaming Gel
When I’m looking to double cleanse, I will use the Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Foaming Gel which is for sensitive skin. This works so well with removing make-up and just making you feel fresh and cleansed. The gel foams up and you can really work it into the skin. As I said, this range is perfect for sensitive skin and it gently gets the job done.

Bioderma Eye Contour Gel
I am pretty guilty of never really using eye creams, especially when it’s such an important area. I’ve been using the eye contour gel which is supposed to help tighten the refresh the eye area. I should really use eye creams a little more because I do get horrendous dark circles. I’ve noticed a slight improvement since using this cream and also I just love to the way it refreshes the under the eye. If I apply this in the morning, I feel more awake and refreshed which is always a good thing.

Bioderma Anti-Redness BB Cream
The BB Cream from Bioderma has kind of split my opinion. Overall, I think the product is amazing and applies like a dream. For a BB cream, it’s got great coverage and makes my skin look pretty flawless. It also helps conceal redness which is a key thing when I’m looking at products to help with my complexion. The BB Cream I’ve got is in the shade light which I believe is the palest shade they do. I’m not super pale but it does come up quite dark for me which is a shame. I’d love to see a wider shade range but I will be saving this one for Summer when I should hopefully be a little more tanned.
Let me know if there is any other posts you’ll like to see from me. As I said there will be a lot more beauty coming, potentially some travel inspo for when this is all over and just generally things that I’m loving at the moment (whilst staying indoors).
XOXO
