Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2020

It’s just under a week until Mother’s Day so of course, I’m bringing you a Gift Guide. We actually celebrated a week early as I was supposed to be flying out to America for three weeks on Mother’s Day. Sadly, because of all that is going on with Coronavirus, we’ve unfortunately had to cancel the trip. Anyway, we went out for a  lovely Sunday Roast meal at a local farmhouse yesterday (review coming soon on Sunday Roast Diaries). As I was prepared with gifts, I did give them a week earlier. I always love doing Gift Guides as it really makes you have a look to see what is out there and you usually come across some real gems perfect for your own Mum. Hopefully, I’ve picked out a few things suited for everyone.

First, up is some delicious treats because who doesn’t love delicious treats?! Joe & Seph’s sent across a selection of their amazing gourmet popcorn and caramel sauces. Now, one of my Mum’s favourite thing in the whole world is caramel so this would be the perfect gift for her. They have a whole range of products and some of them are even infused with prosecco or gin and tonic. The prosecco caramel sauce sounds amazing and I know that will certainly go down a treat with my Mum!

Mother’s Day always falls right in the middle of lent which isn’t ideal if your mama has given up some of the good things in life such as chocolate or alcohol. However, if your Mum doesn’t drink, I’ve come across this brand Caleno which offer an alcohol-free spirit. It really is an interesting concept but a great way to enjoy a tasty drink without consuming alcohol. Caleno goes perfectly a tonic and is distilled with delicious tropical infusions and would be fab for making mocktails!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I attended a Pandora event on Thursday last week to celebrate their zodiac and birthstone collection. I thought this would make a great gift to include in the guide. Whether your Mum already has a Pandora bracelet or not, the charms would be a lovely personal gift. Pandora also currently have a Mother’s Day promotion going on that if you spend over £125, you can choose a bracelet for free. A great promotion if your Mum doesn’t have a bracelet yet. There are some really lovely Mother’s Day charms too.

For those with Mum’s who love the outdoors, it’s worth checking out Tog 24 as they have a great selection of clothing items. Whether you are looking for a warm jacket for your Mum to explore the outdoors or something cute like this sweatshirt there is a great selection to browse through. I thought I would include the Ellerby Sweatshirt in my gift guide as it’s something my Mum would love. I also love that the clothing at Tog 24 is all designed in Yorkshire!

Flowers will never disappoint. You can’t really go wrong buying a lovely bouquet, I know my Mum and Grandma both love receiving flowers. This beautiful bunch is from Blossoming Gifts who deliver the flowers straight to your door and they really have some beautiful arrangements. You can get 15% off your Blossoming Gifts order with the code “RACHEL15”.

The next gift is absolutely perfect for my Mum. It would be great for anyone who’s Mum is a big coffee lover or working in an office environment. Rifle Paper has teamed up with Corkcicle and created a beautiful collection. The Corkcicle range has been given a makeover with beautiful designs – I love the one above Tumbler above. It would be perfect for taking to work and is also triple insulated! Perfect for keeping drinks warm or cold. The collection is available from Selfridges and Anthropologie.

We’ve always got to include something for the beauty lovers. My Mum isn’t too fussed about beauty products but I do try and enlighten her about everything I’m using at the moment. I thought I’d include this nuda palette from Diego Dalla Palma which has got so many beautiful shades inspired by the earth. I think there’s a lovely mixture of shimmers and mattes and would be perfect for creating some nude looks.

Finally, I’ve got a few home scent gifts which would be a great gift. Diffusers and Candles are always a good shout. First up, I’ve got a Clean Cotton Diffuser from the brand Clean Space which is available from my favourite store; Space: NK. Clean Space is an eco-friendly and vegan brand and is crafted with sustainability. The liquid reed diffuser is made from vegan oils to give off a subtle scent and the bottle can be re-used which is great.

For something a little more fruity, Bath and Body Works can actually be purchased in the UK at Notino and they have a huge selection of amazing candles. You might have seen my Spring Scent post where I picked up the Island Margarita candle. It smells incredible but I know that these fruity scents aren’t for everyone. The Bath & Body Works candles are pretty amazing and there is a huge range of scents on Notino.

Hopefully, I’ve featured some great gift ideas for the mama’s out there for this Mother’s Day. I tried to include something for everyone. Whatever you are doing for Mother’s Day this weekend, have a good time and stay safe!

XOXO
