Office Space: Sneak Peek
Yeah, I’m still banging on about redecorating. After about a year of ideas and working on it very slowly, I’ve got some good news… My office space is nearly finished! I’ve got quite a decent sized bedroom which I’ve turned half of it into my office space. My main problem is that I hoard stuff, I find it hard to get rid of things. I’ve tried my hardest to have a good ol’ clear out and I’ve not done too badly. There will be a few more car boots sales this Summer though!
After sorting through my things, the first thing we did was paint the walls. My walls used to be a lilac shade and it’s been that colour ever since I moved into that room. I decided to go for off-white shade for the walls. Hopefully, this shade makes the room look bigger and give it a fresh, clean vibe. I have the famous blogger drawers aka the Alex drawers from Ikea and I’ve also got the Malm Dressing Table which I’m using as a desk. The Alex drawers do live up to the hype and are brilliant for storing make-up. I’ve had them for maybe three years and I have no idea how I managed to store my make-up before!

However, the space isn’t 100% complete. I’m still working on sprucing up the walls and I’ve ordered some prints from Desenio. Watch this space as I’ll be doing a separate post on them. I’m also going to hang up my scratch map from Prezzybox and decorate with fairy lights and polaroid photos. I’ve never liked the carpet in my room but I don’t think that will be changing anytime soon so I’m looking on Cox & Cox to pick up some lush rugs to cover it with. I also want a throw to go over my chair as white might get dirty quickly! I’ve tried to link my bib’s and bobs as much as possible but feel free to tweet me or leave a comment if you want to know where anything is from.

I bought a desk before Christmas, and I’ve been yapping on for a full year about decorating, I just have a new wardrobe to get and a few arty bits and bobs and I’ll be done! x

I’m such a hoarder as well! I have goals to have a beautiful office like the one in your photos but then it gets covered in paper and other cr*p!! At least I have something to aspire to 🙂
