Island Hopping with #Jet2Sunchester
Last month, I was invited to a pretty damn cool event in Manchester with Jet 2 which was coincidentally named #Jet2Sunchester. Little did I know when I made my way across the Pennines to Manchester, that I would be in for a day of Island hopping around Europe and exploring several different holiday destinations with some of my favourite bloggers.
There was only one way to kick off our afternoon of Island hopping and that was heading to the bar in the BH Mallorca Hotel in Magaluf. Not only was the resort serving up yummy cocktails to get us in the party mood, some of the top DJ’s were blasting out tunes. The newly refurbished BH Mallorca is the island’s only open air festival venue. This Summer will see acts such as David Guetta, Tinie Tempah, Jess Glynne and Rudimental.
The next stop was nearby at the neighbouring family resort of Sol Katmandu where we were greeted by the hotel mascot Boro the Yeti. After some Photo Booth fun and a round of mini golf we learnt more about the resort. The Sol Katmandu has everything to keep the kids entertained from free entry into the Katmandu Park, access to the splash park, 4D experiences, live entertainment and many dining options.
It was then time to head over to the island of Malta, I’ve actually been before when I was six. Lucy and I reminisced about our past holiday there. The only thing we could remember was visiting Popeye Village . Check out the cheeky #Throwback snap below. We were assured that Popeye Village was still there and very much a reason to go back! Malta is very much the up and coming holiday destination in Europe. The Capital, Valletta has been named the European Capital of Culture for 2018. Many annual music events take place on the island too! The Isle of MTV music festival; which is free takes place next month. Wiz Khalifa is headlining so it’s certainly not to be missed!
Lastly, It was time to relax on the island of Tenerife and enjoy the spa facilities at the Hotel Botanico. With one of the best spas’s in Europe, Bee enjoyed a massage whilst nail treatments was also on offer. The Hotel Botanico boasts four restaurants on the resort! You would certainly be spoilt for choice. Rooms and suits also offer stunning views of Mount Teide and out to the ocean. If you are looking for a little adventure on your holiday, a day trip to Loro Parque Zoo and Siam Parque Water Park should make your itinerary!
