Afternoon Tea with Lorraine Kelly
Yesterday saw the press launch of Lorraine Kelly’s new AW15 collection with JD Williams. I was kindly invited for Afternoon Tea with the lady herself and the chance to hear about the new collection along with the inspiration behind the new line. As I was in London with my Mum for a girly day of shopping, I brought her along and she was thrilled with attending.
Lorraine’s collection with JD Williams offers designs for women of any shape and size which is a message they are looking to highly promote. The range offers some lovely pieces which capture the season’s key trends and there really is something for everybody. I particularly loved the floral two piece which also had a matching jacket, so on-trend and very versatile, could be worn out to dinner, to the office or even to a special occasion such as a wedding.
Also at the event, there was a chance to see upcoming collections from other brands within the N Brown Group such as Marisota, Jacamo and Simply Be. Mark Heyes’ collection AVA which is in collaboration with Marisota was on display and there was some brilliant upcoming pieces.
We also got to meet the face of Jacamo, Freddie Flintoff. It was a lovely day and my Mum was thrilled I took her along. We did a little bit of shopping on Oxford Street and had lunch at Bill’s. Overall, I had a lovely day and seeing the upcoming collections was brilliant. So many pieces I am lusting after now, those leopard print boots need to be mine!
