My New Years Eve Look
New Years Eve is the perfect excuse to get your glad rags on and pull out that sparkly number that you’ve had nowhere to go in it. I’ve always celebrated the New Years Eve from a young age, even if it was just a meal out with the family. This year, I went for a family meal at our local Italian restaurant and then rang in the New Year with a few friends at the casino before heading out on the town.
I bought this Motel Rocks Gabby Dress with black diamond sequins for the occasion. It was love at first sight and I was so chuffed that it fit really well. I paired the dress with my new babies; my multi-coloured glitter Jeffrey Campbell Lita’s. Please do excuse the basic outfit shots, they were taken in the kitchen two minutes before heading out.
I decided to make my nails as equally sparkly and special. I used the Kate Spade for Nails Inc polish which was recently a freebie in Glamour Magazine. As for my sparkly top coat, I used the Mavala Pure Diamond polish which I received in the Boot’s Beauty Advent Calendar.
I guess, I better share some resolutions for 2014. I’m not the best at keeping them but I’d quite like to join the gym and just get fit. I’m also wanting to blog as much as possible and just grow and develop the site. Finally, I want to cut back on my spending and save up for my trip to America next year.
